Dr. Susan Bostian reviews NES (Energy4Life), reporting that a 30-second bioenergetic scan provided results identical to a 93-page, $8,000 genetic study. Bostian uses the technology to identify physical injuries in thoroughbred racehorses, such as a specific right rear hip tear that traditional veterinary observation initially missed, leading to more accurate protocols.

The interview
How did you get involved in the health and wellness industry?
I had my own journey where I got very sick with Hashimoto's, Graves' disease, and liver enzyme issues, undergoing 19 surgeries. A high school friend suggested I balance my body chemistry and go back to school for integrative holistic health, promising to hire me if I did. I left the traditional medical model, went back to school, and essentially healed myself; everything I was diagnosed with, I don't have anymore.
How did you discover NES Quantum Wellness and Bioenergetic Medicine?
I was going through a tough time and had just received a very expensive, 93-page DNA cancer screening and health study. A gentleman from San Jose asked me to try a new system and sent me a scanner. I did the scan at my dining room table while the $8,000 genetic study was sitting right next to me on the counter.
What was your reaction to your first NES scan results?
I had to stop the person explaining the results because I realized the scan was identical to the 93-page document I had paid a lot of money for. I was sold at that moment because of the parallels to my health, wellness, and even my emotional standpoint. From that point, I vowed to learn everything I could about NES.
How do you use NES in your current practice?
I scan everyone who walks into my office. It is a vital part of their program, their plan, and any goals they have moving forward. I also use it extensively with animals, specifically thoroughbred racehorses, to help repair them and determine if they can return to the track or move into other roles like dressage or lesson horses.
Can you provide an example of using the scan with a horse?
A horse came in with what the vet thought was a left front knee/ankle injury. I scanned the horse in less than 30 seconds, and the ER screen showed a right rear hip issue. I screenshotted the scan for the vet and asked her to ultrasound the hip instead; sure enough, we found a tear exactly where the scan said to look. After that, the vet and owners were sold.
What is your number one tip for other practitioners?
Don't be afraid of the scope of information the scan offers. Accept it, honor the information, and use it for the benefit of your clients. Scan, scan, scan, and look for patterns; eventually, you will recognize the patterns on the recommendation page because you've seen them a million times before.
How do you handle skeptics or 'naysayers' of this technology?
Someone once called me a 'crazy magic potion lady' in a local newspaper, so I turned it into an advertising campaign with t-shirts. I explain to people that if we can measure the vibrational energy of rocks, we can certainly measure the vibrational frequency of the cells in the human body to help you be a healthier person.
Frequently asked
Is bioenergetic scanning as accurate as expensive genetic testing?
Dr. Susan Bostian found that the NES scan was an 'exact match' to a 93-page genetic study she had recently paid a lot of money for. She noted the technology captured the same health and emotional parallels as the $8,000 study, leading her to immediately adopt the system.
Can NES technology be used for animal wellness and injury identification?
Yes, Dr. Bostian uses the NES ER screen specifically for thoroughbred racehorses to identify patterns of energy and performance. In one instance, the scan correctly identified a rear hip tear that a veterinarian had misidentified as a front knee injury.
How do you explain bioenergetic technology to skeptics?
Dr. Bostian compares it to measuring the vibrational frequency of rocks to determine their origin. She explains that because every cell in the human body vibrates, the device simply measures that energy to help people have a 'better day tomorrow.'
