The interview

What are the biggest benefits you have experienced at The CO-OP?

The biggest benefits are definitely the community feel. You get the opportunity to touch base with business owners at every corner, whether it's at an event or with people who share offices throughout the space. I also have a tremendous bond with Heather and Bob; they are super hands-on whenever I throw events.

How has being a partner provided flexibility for your business?

I don't have a brick-and-mortar, so it allows me to build relationships with my clients at a physical space. I can have conference meetings there and utilize the event space for team meetings with my agents. It allows me to find many different facets to meet clients or interact with teammates on a regular basis.

What specific amenities do you find most useful at The CO-OP?

I love the commercial kitchen. It's a huge advantage when I have events where I need catering and pre-prep time for food or snacks. It has a refrigerator, so you don't have to bring all your own catering equipment. It's also a common area where you meet other entrepreneurs because everyone is always hungry.

How does The CO-OP differ from traditional workspaces or coffee shops?

Traditional workspaces don't give you the flexibility to meet other entrepreneurs. Coffee shops don't give you the privacy of being able to put a conference room on the books. The CO-OP allows you to really get personal with your clients, and the aura of the space is great because there is always something happening, like a festival or event.

What is the top feature that your clients appreciate?

The virtual business address is the #1 top feature. A lot of businesses don't know that if you aren't registered properly on the Secretary of State with an actual virtual business address, you are counted out of a lot of funding opportunities. It helps them have a legitimate business profile.

How has your partnership with The CO-OP evolved over time?

This was my first partner venture. I never thought I was going to be this fruitful or consistent with event coordinating, but business events have been a tremendous help for my brand. We are now three years down the line and three locations in. They were willing to go along for the ride even when I didn't have the experience.

Frequently asked

Can I host professional events at The CO-OP without owning a brick-and-mortar office?

Yes. BriiEazy C utilizes the event spaces and conference rooms to meet with clients and agents regularly. She notes that the staff, specifically Heather and Bob, are hands-on and supportive during her events.

Does a virtual business address help with business funding?

According to BriiEazy C, having a legitimate virtual business address registered with the Secretary of State is critical. She states that businesses without a proper address are often counted out of funding opportunities, making this a top feature for her clients.

How does The CO-OP compare to working in a coffee shop?

BriiEazy C explains that coffee shops lack the privacy and scheduling reliability of The CO-OP. The coworking space allows her to 'get on the books' for conference rooms, providing a more personal and professional environment for client meetings.

Brii (00:03) Hey, my name is BriiEazy I'm a business consultant and currently I'm a partner with the some of the biggest benefits I've experienced at the co-op is definitely just the community feel, right? You get the opportunity to touch base with business owners at every corner. And that's whether if it's at an event or the people that share offices throughout the co-op. And there's some other benefits like me and Heather and Bob have a tremendous bond. Anytime I throw events, they're always super hands on. They're just inspired with what my journey has become. and they definitely try to make sure that I can always get on the books. That's the beauty of being a partner. So some of the flexibility that has been provided with being a partner with the co-op is I don't have a brick and mortar. So it allows me to build relationships with my client at a physical space. so I can have conference meetings there. I can also utilize the event space to have a team meeting with my agents. So it does allow me as a person that doesn't own a brick and mortar, still find so many different facets that I can meet my clients or even interact with my teammates on a regular basis. of the amenities that I love about the co-op is the commercial kitchen. It's a huge, huge advantage when I have events where I need catering, and we need pre-prep time for other food or just innovative things and snacks that you want to have for your guests. Being that it has a refrigerator, don't have to bring the catering equipment if you don't want to. You can put it in the it just builds up that flexibility for if I'm throwing an event and someone else needs the oven down the stairs or in a different office, they can still utilize the commercial kitchen as well. It's a common area where you meet people, cause obviously everyone's always hungry. Entrepreneurs, we starve ourselves, so when we finally are able to eat, it's nice to be able to interact with other adults and see what they're doing. So that's a common area, either the break room or the kitchen area, to meet new entrepreneurs. traditional workspaces definitely don't give you the flexibility to, like I said, meet other entrepreneurs. Coffee shops don't give you the privacy of being able to put on the books that you need the conference room or a different space in the co-op. It allows you to really get personal with your clients or whomever you're meeting. And I also feel like just the whole aura of being in a space there's always going to be something thrown there, whether it's a festival or an event or if you're just seeing the basic business owners run business. I think that that's just nice to know that it's not an empty field. So it just opens up a lot of opportunities that way as well. I'm going to say the top feature that my clients love is the fact that I can offer them the same flexibility, and just versatility with having a virtual address. A lot of businesses don't know if your business is not registered properly on the Secretary of State with a actual virtual business address, You're counted out in a lot of funding opportunity. So as a business consultant, having so many different resources for them to be able to utilize that, and and put theirself in the best position for funding, and just... I feel like having a legitimate business profile, that's probably my # 1 top feature that is so appreciated with clients, myself, and just people that are becoming more educated on what a virtual business address can do for them. So I'm gonna say, the co-op was definitely my first partner venture. Never did I ever think that I was gonna be this fruitful or this consistent with event coordinating. But in the reality of things, event business events has been a tremendous help for my brand. I never thought that this was going to be a partnership that was going to be so fruitful cause I didn't have the experience, but they were willing to go along with the ride. So this is where we're at. 3 years down the line, 3 locations in. So it's amazing, amazing things that are happening with this partnership for sure.
