Hi, I'm Leah from Leicestershire in England, and we reworked our kitchen by using House of Worktops, compact laminate work tops. Before I found House of Worktops, I felt overwhelmed with all of the choices. We initially wanted quartz, but the cost was too high, and I knew I wanted space, no joints, something that we could really use in cooking that was heat resistant, stain resistant, and I couldn't find anything that ticked all of those boxes until we found House of Worktops Compact Laminate. My kitchen looks completely different considering it is the same kitchen. Just upgrading those worktops has made it feel so much more spacious. It's given us so much more room to work with. It's so much more functional, and practical, and bright, and it just looks a million times better than it did before. The best thing our friends and family have noticed is how much more livable and sociable this space is now. So having that bit more room means we can sit 'round the island, we can spend time together, and yeah, that's made me feel really happy. Here is our completed kitchen. We even managed to use offcuts to create this coffee station as well. One of my favourite things about this kitchen workshop is the amount of space that we have to prepare food on, and the fact that I can just shoooooop it straight into the sink super easily.
