The interview

What was your life like before attending 40 Years of Zen?

About a week ago, I was struggling with years of trauma and negative programming that was essentially running my life, making me fearful and afraid to try new things. My life was anxiety ridden; I was anxious about finances, I was anxious about my job, and I had a difficult relationship with my mother.

What was the main thing holding you back from attending?

The main thing that held me back was the price tag; it's not cheap. But the experience has been amazing. There's a hotel included, transport back and forth every day, and two fabulous meals a day. It has been one of the easiest experiences, and I think it has paid for itself a thousand times over.

What did you appreciate most about the program?

What made me appreciate the program the most was my own personal transformation. I can't say enough about the facilitators, the chef, and the other participants. All the staff have been just amazing, but the change that I have seen in myself after five days was unprecedented.

How do you feel now that you have completed the week?

I feel as though I am on the brink of a new gorgeous life. My life is now hopeful and open, and I am looking forward to things I didn't think were possible. I walked in one person and I'm leaving a completely different person with positivity and hopes for the future without the baggage and blocks I've been carrying for years.

What are you most excited about for your future?

I am most excited about making my dreams real. I feel like I can try and be successful with new things financially, in my career, and in extracurricular activities. There is a positivity and energy that I can't wait to apply.

Hi, I'm Heather Abrahams. About a week ago, I was struggling with years of trauma, years of negative programming that was essentially running my life, making me fearful, making me afraid to try new things, negating all of my wishes and desires, making it really difficult to get out of my own way and since coming here over the past week that gone. I feel as though I am on the bring a new gorgeous life. After attending 40 Years of Zen, my life is now hopeful and open and I am looking forward to so many things that I didn't think were possible, I'm really excited about my future. I highly recommend 40 Years of Zen because it has made an enormous difference for me within the space of a week and I know that the results and the things I've learned and the blocks that I've removed will continue to get better over the next six to twelve months and I'm really excited. Before attending 40 Years of Zen, my life was anxiety ridden. I was anxious about finances, I was anxious about my job, I had difficult relationship with my mother, I had lots of trauma from years of issues and had tried to work through them before but things were not terrific. What made me say yes to 40 Years of Zen was I had been poking around I know there's a biohacking conference coming up at the end of the month and I've been following Dave Asprey for years and I was poking through the list of sponsors and cruel tech and toys and came across the 40 Years of Zen button and clicked on it and started watching testimonials, started looking at what they do here and I just pushed a little button that said request more information and then I shortly thereafter got an email from Chris and we scheduled a time to talk and the more he talked the more I realized that this could be the thing that really changes the way I think about myself, the way I relate to other people, the way I experience my life. The main thing that held me back was the price tag, it's not cheap but the experience has been amazing there's a hotel that I'm staying at which is included in the price of the event and they transport me back and forth every day, I get two meals a day which are fabulous and it's been one of the easiest experiences I've had sort of staying at a spa so the only drawback was the price but it has I think, paid for itself a thousand times over. What made me appreciate the program the most was my own personal transformation. I can't say enough about the facilitators, the chef, the other participants were all incredible. All the staff have been just amazing but the change that I have seen in myself after five days it was unprecedented. My attitude, my demeanor, my way of looking at the world has improved completely and I'm just so excited for my gorgeous new life to start. I am most excited about making my dreams real. Those that I wished I could do, maybe I could do that oh, I don't know, i'll never do that now I feel like I can try and do those things that I will be successful trying new things financially in terms of my career, in terms of extracurricular activities there is a positivity and energy that I can't wait to apply it seems like a home. The main reason I would recommend 40 Years of Zen is that it is absolutely transformational. I walked in one person then I'm leaving a completely different person with positivity and hopes for the future and dreams that I plan to make come true and without all the baggage and blocks that I've been carrying around for years.
