The interview

What were your initial expectations of the program?

The thing that I thought I was going to get was another positive thinking kind of program. Just 'think positive' and all will be well. It turned out to be much more than that. It really motivated me to think positive, and really put that energy and belief into creating a future that I wanted to see.

What made you interested in the 12-week Dream Builders program?

I, of course, knew Kathy and loved her. And I was intrigued about what it might offer me. I've done a lot of personal work over the last seven years and feel that growth is a continual process, so I wanted to know what this program offered that was different than many other programs that I've attended.

Did you have any hesitations before joining?

The primary reason that I would have hesitated about the program was cost. In my private practice, it's taken about a year for that to really start to be able to pay for itself. What changed my mind was the thought of investing in myself. That and a convenient payment plan made it easier for me to work through the cost concerns.

How was your experience with the program structure?

Almost right away, I knew it was something that I could benefit from. Kathy did a great job explaining the four quadrants that we would look very intensely at, and challenged us to find one that we really felt we needed the most growth in. The process was simplified and easy to stay motivated.

What did you enjoy most about the group aspect?

I especially enjoyed hearing other people's experiences, their breakthroughs, their challenges. It felt good to know that I wasn't alone.

What would you say to someone who is on the fence about joining?

I would tell them one, I understand—I was there. But also to give it a try. Open up to new experiences and the possibilities of learning new ways to see yourself and see your future. Give it a shot. Give it at least four weeks. That's what I would tell them.
