The interview

What was your health situation before starting neurofeedback with Arbor Health?

I was so sedated, so depressed, and non-functioning. I was sleeping all day, diagnosed bipolar, and on a mood stabilizer.

What was the specific protocol you followed for the neurofeedback treatment?

Right before COVID hit, Arbor Health suggested I try it. I rented the machine and brought it home, and I did three sessions a day for 30 days.

What were the immediate results of the 30-day neurofeedback program?

The result was that I stopped sleeping all day. I was no longer diagnosed bipolar, and I'm no longer on a mood stabilizer. It completely reorientated the way I think and the way I feel.

How has this treatment impacted your family?

It is so powerful that my son, who has ADHD, I have him do it. I rented the machine for him to do it, and he feels the difference. It is so simple and it's painless.

Do you still use neurofeedback now that the initial program is over?

When I start getting really stressed out and I have trouble sleeping or anything, I'll go in and do some neurofeedback sessions, like as maintenance. The result is always very impactful; my brain has learned this is where it wants to be.

Why did you decide to say yes to this specific treatment?

I noticed that I was improving with the suggestions that Arbor Health was making in my life. And I said, okay, why not? Why not try it? It worked, and it was great. It was well worth the money.

How do you compare your current state to how you felt before Arbor Health?

I just don't think I would be at the level that I am now without it. People cannot believe who I am now, as opposed to that person that was so sedated and depressed. I think you owe it to yourself to feel the best that you possibly can.
