The interview

What was one of the most surprising aspects of the program?

One of the things that surprised me the most was the community. I actually gained a lot out of that community by seeing what other people were really struggling with. It wasn't until I saw their problems and how they worked through them that I realized I had similar challenges in my business that I hadn't identified or optimized.

Can you introduce yourself and your business?

My name is Brandon Burr, and I live in Chicago, Illinois. I'm the founder and CEO of JetWebinar, a virtual conferencing and video conferencing company.

What challenges were you facing before joining the program?

In the post-COVID era, we had a lot of growth with our business. We had a lot of people interested in video conferencing, meetings, and webinars, and we really had trouble scaling. I'm a developer myself, and operations is not really my skill set.

What specific areas did you work on with the Execute program?

I started working with the program to really streamline the operations of the business to help with workflow automation and workflow optimization. I wanted to make sure we're being efficient with our company's spend and investments in people as well as money.

Can you give an example of a process you optimized?

I've done video production recently and launched a YouTube channel. The process of recording, doing transcripts, and editing is a pretty process-intensive thing that I didn't have the ability to map out. By working with Execute on optimizing the video production process from content creation to delivery, it's allowed me to take that budget and really get a lot more value out of it.

What is it like working with Spencer Burnett specifically?

I find that Spencer is a very intuitive and compassionate person. That empathy helps him understand parts of my business and the struggles I'm having to help identify what needs to be fixed in what order. He has a natural gift for stepping into a process and identifying what needs to be fixed when I might get overly emotional about a roadblock.

Would you recommend the Execute program to others?

I would highly recommend engaging with the Execute program and working with Spencer because the biggest cost in your life and business is the opportunity cost of not taking action. Having someone on your team that can step in and help you through that process is going to maximize the value of the time you're putting into your business and your life.

How does Spencer Burnett help founders with business roadblocks?

Brandon Burr describes Spencer as intuitive and empathetic, allowing him to step into a process, remove emotional roadblocks, and identify exactly what needs to be fixed and in what order.

Brandon Burr (00:00) One of the things that surprised me the most actually... the program is excellent and I've got a lot of value out of it and enjoyed it, but the people that... were also in the program where we hopped on the calls and did conversations about what our problems were and pain points and all that, i actually gained a lot out of that community, And I got to see what other people were really struggling with. it wasn't until I saw what their problems were and how they worked through it that I realized actually I had some of those similar challenges in my business, i just hadn't identified them or optimized them Hi, my name is Brandon Burr, and I live in Chicago, Illinois, and I'm the founder and CEO of JetWebinar, a virtual conferencing and video conferencing company. in the post-COVID era, we had a lot of growth with our business. We had a lot of people interested in video conferencing, meetings and webinars, and we really had trouble scaling the I'm a developer myself, and Operations is not really my skill set. And I started working with the execute program to really streamline the operations of the business to help with workflow automation, workflow optimization, to make sure that we're being efficient with our company's spend and investments in people as well as money. the investments that I've made in different parts of my business, I've gotten a much higher return on investment in those parts of my business. Like, for example, I've done video production recently, I've launched a YouTube channel for generating content to educate the audience and track leads. and the process of actually going and recording the videos, doing the transcripts, doing the editing and all that, is a pretty process-intensive thing that just really, i didn't have the, just kind of understanding for ability to map that out. But by going through and working with execute on optimizing the video production process from content creation to delivery, it's allowed me to take the budget that I've invested in content creation, video production, and really get a lot more value out of I find that Spencer is a very intuitive and compassionate person and which that empathy helps him understand parts of my business and the struggles that I'm having that help him kind of identify what needs to be fixed in what order. And especially for me, if I'm if I get caught in a certain part of the business, I might get overly emotional about something because it maybe as a roadblock or I'm dealing with a client problem. So to have someone who's got really a strong sense of people and process and all of that, He's able to step into a process, identify what needs to be fixed and all that. So I think that's something that with the execute program, but like Spencer specifically, he very much has that natural gift. And I know he's developed that over a long period of time. So, you know, I've been very impressed with his ability to do that. I would highly recommend engaging with the execute program and working with Spencer because at the end of the day, the biggest cost in your life and your business is the opportunity costs of not taking action on the thing that you need to take action on. And you can point out probably any particular area in your business - whether it's marketing, sales, even operations or hiring or something - that you're not doing the best that you could. And to have someone on your team that can step in and help you through that process is going to maximize the value of the time that you're putting into not only your business, but also your life. So I think taking that step and having Spencer work with you with the execute program is a great way - just like hiring a personal trainer to get fit. you can do it on your own, but it's a lot harder, But if you have someone who knows what they're doing that can step in, kind of motivate you, you're going to get so much more return on your time in life.
