The interview

Who is Alivia Daniels and what was her situation before starting?

My name is Alivia. I am 35 years old. Currently have no kiddos, been married for 15 years. I'm from California and I'm a hairdresser. I own my own salon. I was working with a couple of different specialists and it led me to the path of Dr. Tyler.

What motivated you to seek out Dr. Tyler Panzner specifically?

I had done other previous genetic testing and I just really wanted to find a more in-depth doctor who would go over each thing with me so I wasn't so confused. It was like I got all these genetics, but I had no idea what the heck I was dealing with.

What specific health discoveries did you make during the process?

He went in depth and then, I mean, it went down to like certain foods that I wasn't able to eat. I was eating foods every day that were wrecking me. I had no idea that I had the suoxine. I was eating sulfur every single day and I was having chronic insomnia. I was dealing with weird but tired, all of the things.

How has your health changed since implementing the plan?

Now that I'm not eating sulfur as much as I used to, very, very little amounts of it, everything has changed for the better.

How did he approach your supplement protocol compared to previous doctors?

Honestly, I've really scaled back on my supplementation just because the supplements that I was taking before for my previous integrative doctor were too much for my system. He actually was like, let's lower everything. So instead of doing like 15 different supplements, let's get you down to the supplements that your body actually needs and will actually work with.

What was the financial impact of this personalized approach?

I'm doing a very minimal amount of supplementation right now. It's helped me financially because I'm not having to spend as much money on supplementation. And now these supplements actually work with my system and I'm not overriding everything.

How does Dr. Panzner integrate different medical philosophies?

It was a whole different experience because he understands pharmacology and he understands holistic medicine. I love that he knows both worlds and he brings them together and he uses you as the roadmap. So it was like we could do the herbal, we could do the Western, we need to bring it together.

How did his bedside manner compare to other specialists you've seen?

He was so much more personal than all of my other doctors. Instead of just handing me a piece of paper, he went over line by line. My other doctors literally were like, you have MTHFR, you're fine. Just don't have folic acid. That's it. Like it was nothing. I appreciate how pumped up and excited he gets to talk to each individual person.

Frequently asked

How does Dr. Tyler Panzner handle complex genetic data for patients?

Alivia Daniels noted that unlike previous doctors who just mentioned MTHFR, Dr. Panzner went line-by-line through her 'snips' to explain exactly what she was dealing with. He translated complex molecular biology into actionable dietary changes, such as identifying her specific sulfur intolerance.

Can DNA-guided coaching help reduce the cost of supplements?

Yes, Alivia reported that Dr. Panzner helped her scale back from 15 different supplements prescribed by a previous integrative doctor to a minimal amount. This helped her financially because she stopped buying unnecessary products that were overriding her system.

What is Dr. Tyler Panzner's coaching style like?

Alivia describes him as a 'no bullcrap' guy who is straightforward and enthusiastic. She appreciated that he treats the patient as a unique roadmap and encourages questions rather than making the patient feel like a 'challenge' or 'too much.'
