The interview

What was your initial impression of the investment process?

I thought it would be really involved and it'd be really difficult, it's an easy process from opening the account to buying a bond and then just watching it grow in the background and not having to do anything. I think that was what surprised me the most - how easy it was to navigate. And I love that it's just as simple as being on an app to do it.

Can you tell us a bit about your background and what led you to look for investment opportunities?

My name is Nancy Bessine. I live in the Virginia, DC, Maryland area, specifically in Virginia. And I am a marketing manager for a commercial real estate company. I have been wanting to invest and make money off of my money. I think it was about a year ago. I was actually looking into SoFi, I didn't have enough knowledge or education around it. So I kind of just like put it on the back burner.

How did you first hear about Compound Real Estate Holdings?

I was still doing my research until a client's relation manager reached out to me via email about this opportunity. After educating myself more and kind of getting information around it, I was a little hesitant at first to be honest because I just didn't know. Sometimes it just sounds too easy to like make money off of your money and it being an 8.5 interest rate I was like that's amazing.

What was the onboarding process like with the client relations manager?

The clients relation manager kind of walked me through everything from start to finish with the process was like the fact that it's like easily on an app that you can kind of just like transfer, pull deposit all directly from the app. They explained the process to me and the benefit from it. They gave me real life examples and shared different scenarios with me.

How did you decide to finally move forward with the investment?

After sitting on it for a couple of days and doing some more thorough research I was like, okay, I think I'm ready to give this a try, but I want to start small cause I'm so wary at first. It's my money and I'm very particular about how I store and save my money. So I figured the best way to go about doing this is by starting off small.

How does the 8.5% interest rate compare to other options you looked at?

I immediately was like, this is too good to be true. I was like, that is very solid. That's amazing. Not even comparable to what I had researched, as I mentioned previously with SoFi, not even comparable to that. It definitely piqued my interest.

What is the biggest benefit you see in this platform?

I think having a reliable return on my money without having any risk attached to it. If I'm building interest off of it and I can pull it out, there's no risk associated with it. That was a big thing for me. My overall experience has been very smooth, very reassuring and very positive.

Have you tried reinvesting your earnings yet?

I have reinvested my earnings and that was pretty easy and it was smooth. And if I had any questions, I had reached out to my client relations manager to kind of get clarity on the process, but it wasn't difficult at all.

Why would you recommend Compound Real Estate bonds to others?

I would recommend compound real estate bonds because it's easy, it's reliable, and it's the best way to earn money on your money without having to do much, without having to lift a finger. You kind of just make your deposit, let it build and let it grow while it just happens in the background. And if you have to withdraw money, there's no penalty associated with it.
