The interview

What is Shannon's approach to working with clients?

Shannon has always come to it with a really level head and is able to look at something objectively. She's not just trying to make a sale or just trying to put me in a home; she wants me to be happy with my decision.

What is your history of working with Shannon and Elements Real Estate?

I'm Alan Babiliński. I live in Inman Park, and Shannon helped me to buy two homes and to sell one. I decided to work with her after being introduced by a trusted friend.

How did Shannon assist with the preparation and listing of your property?

She's helped me with everything like being there when the carpets needed to be stretched when I was out of town, and being available when the appliances needed to be repaired and the people from the home warranty needed to show up.

Can you describe the timeline of your most recent home purchase?

She knew what I was looking for and called saying, 'Hey, this place just popped up. I need you to look at it right now.' This was a Wednesday, and that Saturday, my deal was accepted and we were under contract.

How did Shannon support you through the technical aspects of the transaction?

She was really good at setting me up with resources through her networks to make sure I got an inspector that I liked. She made sure whoever was looking at my place knew what the HOA rules were—things they may not even notice in the contract that are very important.

What was the overall duration of your home search experience?

For my first place, I think we were looking for maybe about a year. But simultaneously, when I came to this place that I'm currently in, we saw it on a Wednesday and I think I had the offer that next week.

Frequently asked

Is the team at Elements Real Estate Atlanta too pushy or sales-focused?

Alan Babiliński specifically noted that Shannon did not act 'salesy' and was not just trying to make a sale. He felt she was a 'steady hand' who prioritized his happiness with the decision over simply closing a deal.

How does Elements Real Estate handle logistics for out-of-town sellers?

Alan mentioned that Shannon was 'instrumental' while he was out of town, managing tasks like stretching carpets for a listing and coordinating appliance repairs with home warranty technicians.

Can Elements Real Estate Atlanta help a buyer who doesn't know where to start?

Yes, Alan started as a renter who didn't know the process, and Shannon provided a network of trusted sources, including inspectors, to guide him through his first purchase.

Alan Babiliński (00:00) Shannon has always come to it the way that I would have wanted her to, which is with a really level head. able to sort of look at something objectively. She's not just trying to make a sale. She's not just trying to put me in a home. She wants me to be happy with my decision. I would say that that was key. Hi, I'm Alan Mabolinsky. I live in Inman Park, and Shannon helps me to buy two homes and to sell one. What made me decide to work with Shannon was my initial introduction to her. She was recommended to me by a friend, a trusted friend. And when I met Shannon, I didn't feel like I was working with a salesperson. And one of the first things that I told her was that if she tries to act "salesy," we're not going to be friends for very long. Shannon was very helpful and hands-on when she needed to be. And I could kind of see that from the get-go. And that's why I decided, yes, this is the person that I'm going to spend my weekends with and we're going to look at all these lovely places in Atlanta. just based on the experiences that other people have had over time since I've worked with Shannon. It's just made me realize that I have been very well taken care of and perhaps spoiled. So she set the bar incredibly high and that is one thing that I've definitely taken away from it. she's helped me with everything like being there when the carpets needed to be stretched, when I was out of town when we were listing my old place to... being available when the appliances needed to be repaired and the people from the home warranty needed to show up. just absolutely instrumental. I had a really good experience in that first purchase that i made with shannon because she knew what I was looking for. So getting that phone call from her saying, "hey, this place just popped up. I need you to look at it right now because I think this is what you want." She was spot on. this was like a Wednesday. And that Saturday, my deal was accepted and we were under contract. she was available to answer my questions no matter how neurotic they got. She always made herself available when I was just trying to even figure out what it is that I wanted. I mean, I was in a position with my first place where I was like, I need to stop renting. I have the financial means, I think, to purchase a place, but I don't really know what I'm doing. And so she was really good at setting me up with resources through her networks and her to make sure that I got an inspector that I liked. That people that I was working with throughout, they were kind of trusted sources, right? throughout the process, I felt like I was working with a friend. Like someone who you have a real personal relationship with. And as a result, in those moments where maybe I was lacking confidence or thought, wait, hold on, am I even doing the right thing? Is this even a good deal? My overall experience working with Shannon has been incredibly positive. She held my hand when I needed it but knew when to let go of my hand when I didn't need the assistance. I felt like I did the parts that I wanted and needed to do and I felt like anything that I needed her to do to help me, whether it be just being available to let someone in to fix something or just making sure that whoever's looking at my place knew what the HOA rules are, things that they may not even notice in the contract that are very important. She was always there. She was the guiding light, she was the steady hand, she was the calm voice, and that was very helpful in the entire process. I would recommend working with Shannon because she'll care about you. If you want to send her a text message randomly she will get back to you no matter how weird your questions are. And if they start getting too cryptic, she'll even follow up to figure out what's wrong. But she feels you're working with someone you can trust, with someone who has years of experience, who has worked with many people, who has worked in town, knows the city inside and out, and she'll bring things to the front when, let's say, you're buying that you may not have even considered. And I've truly appreciated that. I knew that I could reach out to Shannon to at least get a start, if not get the assistance that I needed. She'll never give up on you. My first place I think we were looking for maybe about a year But simultaneously when I came to this place that I'm currently in, we saw it on a Wednesday and I think I had the offer that next week. So it was an incredibly fast process and I was able to, you know, move to the neighborhood that I wanted to live in since I moved to Atlanta.
