The interview
What surprised you most about working with Shannon?
I think what surprised us most about working with Shannon is how much she advocated for us the entire way. She was clearly team us through the entire process. At no point did we feel that she didn't have our back. She was extremely professional and has basically become the image in my mind of what a realtor should be because she advocated for us so strongly on every point.
Who are you and where do you live?
I am Reggie Hudson. And I'm Chrissy Hudson. And we live in East Point, Georgia, in Jefferson Park.
What services did Shannon provide for your family?
We purchased our first home with Shannon and more recently, my mom passed away and she helped us with selling that house as well.
Why did you choose Shannon over other realtors?
She was already part of the family. We had friends who had worked with colleagues of hers, and through this colleague we met Shannon. As we worked with Shannon and got to know her we basically fell in love with the way she worked with us and the way she took care of us.
How did your experience evolve during the home search?
We worked with her for well almost a year trying to find our first home and the longer we worked together the more in tune we were getting. She knew what to show us and she would point out exactly why we did not want to see a particular house.
How did she help you find your current home?
When we finally landed in this house, it was crazy the way she showed it to us. There is a huge open area with the kitchen and connecting living room. Reggie is the best cook I know and she knew that. She held off and showed us the kitchen last and said, 'okay, this is going to be his selling point.' We finally found it.
How did she handle the transition of selling your mother's home?
Before my mom passed, we met with Shannon because my mom wanted to sell the house. About a week later she actually got really sick and so we transitioned from selling her house with my mom still here to selling her house after she had passed. She was super supportive throughout the whole process.
What was the final outcome of your experience?
The outcome we were most pleased with was just how much she understood what we were looking for in a home and in a neighborhood. She nailed it; we fit right in with the rest of our neighbors. She stuck with us through close to 100 houses and was still super positive all those months later.
Frequently asked

Is Elements Real Estate Atlanta supportive during difficult life transitions?
Yes, Christine Hudson noted that Shannon was 'super supportive' and 'hands-on' when their needs shifted from a standard sale to an estate sale following her mother's passing.
