The interview

What is your overall impression of Dr. Wilcox's results?

He truly delivers results. He's a very smart person that I admire and that I take his opinion into account because of the results; it works. What he's saying works.

What symptoms were you experiencing before seeking treatment?

I was experiencing fogginess, like cloud fogginess, and tired all the time—just exhausted. I just attributed it to age or having teenagers, you know, all this stuff. And so I didn't really know what was wrong.

How did you find out about Dr. Wilcox and Wise Medicine?

A friend of mine took her and her family to Dr. Wilcox—her and her husband had parasites. I didn't think that I would have the same issues. I just thought, you know, I'll just take this test that he recommended, and we'll be done with it.

Why was specialized testing necessary for your diagnosis?

Without knowing the root cause, and blood tests and stool tests, there's no other way. You're kind of guessing because you're going off of symptoms. You don't really know what you're treating if you don't have those specific—your own specific blood results that Dr. Wilcox tests for.

How did your experience with Dr. Wilcox compare to your expectations?

I think both me and my husband were pleasantly surprised and shocked that he knew more than us. I know that sounds really arrogant, but, you know, we're academics too. And, you know, we've had formal education, and I've been doing doTERRA for eight, nine years. So I have a significant amount of research under my belt.

What physical and mental changes have you noticed since treatment?

I feel like I'm pre-children... before I had my kids. I would always reach in the afternoon for an afternoon soda; that's really the only thing that would help give me that extra hour or two boost that I needed to finish up my work day. It's just balanced out in addition to being diagnosed with the parasites.

How would you describe Dr. Wilcox's communication style?

The way that Dr. Wilcox explained, it's like, he's very well versed, and he's very open and honest. And if he doesn't really know something, he told us, 'this is what I think, and this is what I want to try. And this is the reason why.' We were able to academically go on that journey with him.

What are the symptoms of a parasite infection?
