The interview

What is your professional background and how did you meet Mitch?

I'm Deja Lett, and I live in Saco, Maine. I've been a real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty since 2003. Mitch came to my office to introduce himself to me, which I liked because I don't have any other property management companies that have done that at all.

What stood out to you about his approach to property management?

He came with value-added things, not just how he could help serve my clients, but also how he could even possibly help my business grow. When he rents to people, he gathers a list of names, and some of them say they want to buy at some point and would love to hear from a realtor, so he shares that with me.

How would you describe his work ethic and process?

I'm a big believer when you have a process that you follow and you do the same thing over and over again, you become an expert. For him, he's an expert. I saw that he had the same kind of work ethics as me, doing that 'extra one thing' to make a client happy or make a deal better.

Can you provide an example of him going above and beyond for a client?

I sent a couple of people to them who needed a plumber. Normally, they would call me, but they mentioned it to Mitch and it was taken care of and done. This was actually after he was done managing them and I was selling the condo; he still sent in his plumber or his electrician.

What is the referral process like when working with Hartford Property Management?

When I send somebody to Mitch, it's typically an introduction by email. He just takes it from there. I don't even have to follow up with my client to find out what's going on because he tells me what's happening. He gives me the update that their house is now on the market for rent or they found a renter.

How do your clients react to working with him?

My clients immediately are reaching out to me, thanking me for the introduction. They feel very taken care of, they understand the process, and it is very simple to work with him. You're never wondering what's going on.

Would you recommend Hartford Property Management to others?

I would hands down 100% recommend him to my own family, my friends, and my clients. Communication is so important to me, and Mitch is a great communicator. Once I pass a client off to him, I don't worry about it.

I'm a big believer when you have a process that you follow and you kind of do the same thing over and over again, you become an expert in your field. And for him, he's an expert. Um, he has a process, and he takes somebody through that process. I feel very confident when I refer somebody over to him. I'm Dai Gillette, and I live in Saco, Maine. I'm a real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty since 2003. He came to my office to introduce himself to me. I liked that. Um, I don't have any other property management companies have not done that at all. So Mitch came to my office, introduced himself, and he came with, like, value-added things, too. Not just how he could help serve my clients, but also how he could even possibly help my business grow, too. Because when he rents to people, he gathers a list of names, and some of them say, yes, they want to buy at some point in time, and they'd love to hear from a realtor, and so then he shares that with me. I felt very generally comfortable with him. And I'm that person that's, like, turning the degree up from two hundred and eleven to two twelve to make it boil, or that extra one-up that you can do to make a client happy, that little extra one thing that you could do to just kind of make that transaction or that deal better. I'm always doing that, and I just saw that in him. I saw that he very much had the same kind of work ethics, and the way that he was taking care of his clients really stood out to me. So I sent a couple people to them. They needed a plumber. Normally, they would call me. They mentioned it to Mitch, taken care of and done. You know what I mean? And this was actually after he was done managing them and I was actually selling the condo. He still sent in his, I think it was his plumber or his electrician, one of the two. So people just really like how he communicates. Uh, my clients felt very taken care of. They understood the process. It was very simple to work with him, and he goes above and beyond. When I send somebody to Mitch, it's either an introduction, typically by email. He just takes it from there. I don't even have to follow up with my client to find out what's going on, 'cause he tells me what's happening. He gives me the update as to what happened, that their house is now, you know, on the market for rent, or they found a renter. He very much keeps me in the loop in the communication, and I can tell you my clients immediately are reaching out to me, thanking me for the introduction. Mitch is the kind of conversation that you, you have ten, twenty, thirty seconds just to, like, let you know, 'cause he's keeping you, um, aware of what's happening. He's letting the client know what's happening, and you're never wondering what's going on. I don't have to ask him how things are going with my clients. I now have Mitch as a resource, so when people are shopping, looking for a second home in the area, or, you know, or even just mention to me, like, "I think we might wanna move out of the area, but we're not ready to sell," I now have this person that I am 100% confident in giving his name and contact information to my clients. So it's really helped me have another layer of, like, that one-up that I can do for my clients, you know? That, that extra thing that I can offer out to people is, "Hey, I've got somebody that can manage your property if you don't wanna sell and it's not the time for you." Because that's a lot of people right now. A lot of people don't wanna sell, but they do wanna move on. And so keeping their property and having Mitch be the guy that's going to manage it just makes me feel like I, I'm taking care of them through Mitch. [laughs] So he does what he says he's gonna do, and then some. So if you're thinking about working with Hart for property management, I would hands down 100% recommend him to my own family, my friends, and my clients. Uh, communication is so important to me, and Mitch is a great communicator. He makes the process very easy. And once I pass a client off to him, I don't worry about it. He gives me the updates, takes care of everything, and usually my clients are messaging me saying, "Thank you very much for the introduction to Mitch. He's been great."
