The interview
How did your partnership with Remarkable Career begin?
I partnered with Remarkable Career about more than two years ago, when I was overwhelmed in a department of one for a small startup. Mark reached out from Remarkable Career and it was just an amazing partnership from the beginning up until finalization of hiring who they found for us who is still with us.
Was there any hesitation before engaging with their program?
The reason why we almost didn't engage with Remarkable Career program is due to approval in house. We wanted to kind of just do everything internally.
What are the primary benefits you've received from using their service?
One of the benefits that I've received using Remarkable Career is honestly their attention to detail with the needs that we have. They are just on point with understanding the culture of the company and the people that are kind of needed for that company; everyone that Mark has brought on has stayed long term with the company.
How does Remarkable Career compare to other recruiters you have worked with?
Compared to Remarkable Career, other recruiters are a little bit more old school I would say, just kind of in the way they go about things. Also the pricing—some do want deposits and I think one of the things that's great about Remarkable Career is that they're very upfront with what the cost will be.
How did you first connect with Mark and know he was the right fit?
I actually didn't know Remarkable Career was the right path for me. Mark actually reached out via LinkedIn and we connected that way and he was very persistent, but also when we finally jumped on a call the way he summarized our wants and needs for the company was just amazing and I feel that type of relationship is just unparalleled.
What is Remarkable Career best at in terms of recruitment?
Remarkable Career is the best at finding that niche person that you need. Working with Remarkable Career has been very helpful; not only is it just kind of a load off the shoulders for recruiting internally, also the partnership and the communication is just on a daily basis.
Can you describe their process for finding the 'perfect fit'?
They also really strive to find that perfect fit so they'll send you some test resumes, see what's working what's not, they really listen to the feedback that you provide and if there's any beige or red flags they really take that into consideration not only for the role that we're looking for but for other roles as well.
What values do you appreciate most about their team?
Some of the values that I appreciate most about Remarkable Career is their transparency, their communication, they really ask you 1001 questions in the beginning to really kind of hone in on what your needs are and what the needs are for the role. They also really do a deep dive into the culture of a company.
