“Oftentimes, I don't give them or I say 'Oh, call me afterwards, we'll do a zoom call.' and, of course, then it never gets followed up on, and so people lose their testimonials.”
“It was seamless. It was easy. I walked away, and I was like 'Oh, I would absolutely do that again!'”
The interview
Can you introduce yourself and your business?
Hi, my name is Rebecca Sanchez. My company is Nimble Up. I am an organizational effectiveness trainer and coach, and I am at B.O.B. - the Business of Biohacking Summit.
What was your initial reaction to seeing the Share One device?
I'm here at this event, and there is this interesting looking contraption called Share One in front of me and I walked past it, I was like 'What is this thing?'
How does this compare to your past experiences giving testimonials at events?
Oftentimes I go to conferences and events, and there are people there that are asking for testimonials, and it feels kind of clinical, and it feels kind of awkward, and it feels all these different things. So oftentimes, I don't give them or I say 'Oh, call me afterwards, we'll do a zoom call.' and, of course, then it never gets followed up on, and so people lose their testimonials.
What do you like about the Share One interaction model?
I love this because you are right there. You're on the other side of me. It feels like I'm—well, it doesn't feel like I'm talking to you— I'm literally talking to you and I get to look at your eyes, and I get to look at your smile, while at the same time being able to answer questions about my experience here.
How would you describe the overall experience using the device?
This is such a cool contraption. It was seamless. It was easy. I walked away, and I was like 'Oh, I would absolutely do that again!' So, yeah, I am very impressed with this Share One device to give testimonials in an easy way.
Frequently asked
Why do people often fail to provide video testimonials at conferences?
Rebecca Sanchez notes that traditional requests feel clinical or awkward, leading people to suggest a Zoom call later that never gets followed up on. Share One solves this by being right there in the moment for an immediate, natural conversation.
What makes the Share One device different from a standard camera setup?
According to Rebecca Sanchez, the device allows for a natural interaction where the speaker can look at the reporter's eyes and smile. This removes the clinical feeling of typical testimonial recording sessions.
Is the Share One testimonial process difficult for users?
Rebecca Sanchez described the experience as seamless and easy, stating she would absolutely do it again after walking away from the device.
