The interview

What is your professional background and clinical focus?

I practice in Oakland County, Michigan and I am a chiropractor that pivoted into brain health in organizations. I actually got my doctorate while I was in St. Louis, Missouri, and finished my master's in sports medicine and rehabilitation.

What led you to seek out a solution like SNiP Nutrition?

When I was in private practice, I actually found that a lot of my corporate executives, day-to-day employees, blue collar workers, people who just were not getting the necessary feedback on their health, started to have issues. I started to make it a lifelong mission to really focus on that population. I also wanted to continue to figure out how to help myself on my own health journey while not breaking the bank between supplements and doctors visits.

What specific health improvements have you observed?

I've seen amazing results with SNiP in everything from fertility to sleep to overall energy during the day. I had such amazing results with myself, I was able to start taking it to bigger populations of people to really help them see a massive difference in their overall health.

What do you like most about the SNiP reporting and supplement process?

I love the fact that someone can opt in or opt out of having the clinician go through it. It allows the patient/client to stay in the driver's seat. What I love about the reports is, you can get as detailed and granular as you want to or keep it as surface level while still getting the massive impact of the supplement at the same time.

How does SNiP Nutrition compare to other health trends you have seen?

The great part is, there's nothing trendy about this. Everything about it is clinically-backed. Everything about it is all natural. I don't want to take anything that I know may harm my body. There's a reason why people choose to go a more natural route because they don't want the side effects. I didn't have to compromise on my health.

How have you integrated SNiP into your professional work?

I've incorporated it into a lot of my day-to-day work with people. It's a natural progression for people because it's easy to take, it's not overwhelming, it's cost-effective and it's specific. For me it's a no-brainer. My family takes it, and now I recommend it to clinicians, practitioners, and friends.

Frequently asked

Is SNiP Nutrition just another health trend?

Dr. Sara Whedon emphasizes that there is nothing trendy about SNiP Nutrition; it is clinically-backed and all-natural. She notes that unlike many iterations of healthcare trends, this is specific to the individual's DNA and requires no compromise on health.

How expensive is personalized DNA nutrition?

Dr. Whedon found SNiP Nutrition to be a cost-effective solution that prevented her from 'breaking the bank' between various supplements and doctor visits. She describes the system as a way to get a massive impact without financial sacrifice.

Can patients control their own genetic data with SNiP?

Yes, Dr. Whedon highlights that patients can opt in or out of having a clinician or representative go through their reports. This allows the client to stay in the driver's seat regarding their own health data.

Full transcript

Hello, my name is Dr. Sara Whedon. I practice in Oakland County, Michigan and I am a chiropractor that pivoted into brain health in organizations. So I actually got my doctorate while I was in St. Louis, Missouri, and finished my master's in sports medicine and rehabilitation. When I was in private practice, I actually found that a lot of my corporate executives, day-to-day employees, blue collar workers, people who just were not getting the necessary feedback on their health, started to have issues. So, I started to make it a lifelong mission to really focus on that population. However, I've seen amazing results with SNiP in everything from fertility to sleep to overall energy during the day. I actually wanted to continue to figure out how to help myself on my own health journey and it really piqued my interest. I think we overgeneralize health. And so, I started down the path of trying to figure out how to help support myself while also not, you know, breaking the bank between supplements and doctors visits and everything else. I had such amazing results with myself, I was able to start taking it to bigger populations of people to really help them see a massive difference in their overall health. First of all, I love the fact that someone can opt in or opt out of having the clinician go through it and they can opt in or opt out of having someone, a representative from SNiP, go through it. It allows the patient/client to stay in the driver's seat of what they want. What I love about the reports is, you can get as detailed and granular as you want to or keep it as surface level while still getting the massive impact of the supplement at the same time. Most of the time, you know, we get stuck on, like, this is the new, newest, latest, greatest - that everybody hops on the wagon to try. I mean, I followed iterations of trends about healthcare and the great part is, there's nothing trendy about this. Everything about it is clinically-backed. Everything about it is all natural. I don't want to take anything that I know may harm my body. There's a reason why people choose to go a more natural route because they don't want the side effects. So, one of the reasons I love all of it is because I didn't have to compromise on my health. It was specific for me and there was nothing that I had to "sacrifice on" in order to make sure that it was kind of the whole package. I think you need to be relatively open-minded as a practitioner these days. Anything goes. However, I will say, that when you are backed by the kind of data and the integrity and alignment that SNiP is known for, it's easy for me to say, "dip your toe in the pond." Figure out if it's something that you like, that works for you, that works for your daily routine. And figure out if it even is something that you want to recommend to people. Oftentimes, once I start looking for ways that I can introduce SNiP to other people - clinicians, practitioners, friends, etc. - it's a natural progression for people because it's easy to take, it's not overwhelming, it's cost-effective and it's specific. So, for me it's a no-brainer. I could go on on this topic for an hour but I'll keep it brief and short. I was not looking for something like this. I'm so glad I had a practitioner friend of mine who I trust and respect and I went down the rabbit hole and here I am taking it myself, my family takes it, and now I recommend it and actually have incorporated it into a lot of my day-to-day work with people.
