The interview
Who are you and where are you from?
Karie Cassell here from Grand Prairie, Alberta, Northern Canada.
What made the Relationship Immersion Training so powerful for you?
What made the Relationship Immersion Training so powerful for me was the unexpected, the surprises. In my mind, I thought, 'Oh, relationship with your significant other'—and yes, that is in there. But what really surprised me, and was very empowering, was discovering more about the relationship with myself.
How has discovering more about yourself changed how you show up for others?
When we peel a layer of the onions back, then we get to discover more of ourself... I like to say, 'Give from an overflowing cup.' Because I've been able to fill up my cup.
Why are you excited to attend this year's immersion program?
I'm excited for this year's immersion because any time that I attend any of the Brave Thinking Institute programs, sessions, I make more discoveries. You don't know what you don't know. With these programs, you get to develop new thinking. And so I love how I discover more layers of myself, and I can't wait because I know that's going to happen yet again.
What would you say to someone who is hesitant about RSVPing to this event?
I would tell anyone who's anticipating, wondering about RSVPing to this event that they want to know more about themselves. Relationships are what we are here for, and being able to deepen and understand that further, I just think that's just a win-win for everyone. There's certainly not a ceiling on what you can learn in life, and they know how to help you discover more. I think that on my own I wouldn't have otherwise. So I say go for it. Don't wait any further.

Karie Cassell initially thought the program was only for significant others, but she discovered it was actually about the relationship with herself. She found that peeling back these layers allowed her to fill her own cup first.
Can I achieve these personal growth results on my own?
Karie Cassell believes that she would not have made these specific discoveries on her own. She credits the Brave Thinking Institute programs with helping her develop 'new thinking' that she didn't know she was missing.
