The interview
What was your experience with the onboarding process at Atlas Assistants?
The whole onboarding process was professional, was detailed and they provide added-value services. There's coaching, which I was attending. That process really instilled confidence in me and my team because they're benefiting from Jocelyn as well. They reach out with satisfaction surveys, checking in all the time to see if I'm happy still.
How would you describe the company's culture and proactivity?
They have a referral program; they really think about everything. And if they haven't thought about it, they're busy thinking about it right now, right to the top of the company. They are very proactive.
What advice do you have for someone considering Atlas Assistants?
I'd say go through the onboarding process. You're gonna have to spend a little bit of money for them to learn about you and you to learn about them. I think it's worth the investment.
What kind of impact has your assistant, Jocelyn, had on your daily work?
There's a lot of different ways that she can provide leverage, but really coming in initially and taking some of the low hanging fruit and optimizing that for me was liberating. Those moments continue on, thank goodness. And we're inventing new ways to expand the benefits and to systematize as much as we can within Partner Marketing Works.
Who are you and what does your company do?
My name is David Lindover. I'm the CEO of Partner Marketing Works International Inc. based in Toronto, Canada and operating in the U.S. We produce content for content-driven go-to-market programs.
What problem were you trying to solve when you hired Atlas Assistants?
The company is growing and the amount of tasks and processes are growing, and it's stretching our capabilities in some areas. And so I tend to be a blocker in some of the scenarios. I've tried numerous executive assistant or virtual assistant models and they have not worked.
How did you find Atlas Assistants and what convinced you to try them?
I was referred to Atlas Assistants by a colleague in the accelerator that I joined who had a great experience with an EA from Atlas. I was impressed right from the start with their discovery process. A very senior person in the company took the time to understand my journey and demonstrated that they knew what they were doing.
What is the most important thing Atlas Assistants has given you?
It's really the confidence to be able to do more. And that's really important to me. I need to have that belief and passion that we can continue to grow. Otherwise, you don't. So that's what it's given me; it's given me a taste of that.
Frequently asked
Will Atlas Assistants work if I have had bad experiences with other VAs?

Is the Atlas Assistants onboarding process worth the initial cost?
Lindover describes the onboarding as professional, detailed, and worth the investment. He advises others to go through the process, even though it requires spending money upfront for both parties to learn about each other, because it instills confidence in the team.
How does an Atlas Assistant help a growing company?
According to Lindover, his assistant Jocelyn helps by taking 'low hanging fruit' and optimizing it, which provides immediate leverage. This support allows the CEO to stop being a blocker in company processes and provides the stability needed to iterate and grow.
