The interview
How has your life changed since starting the Migraine Relief Code?
Life is so different now. I'm not worried in the back of my mind about when I'm gonna have my next migraine or what I'm gonna miss with my family life when I commit to a plan or trip. I'm not missing time from work and I'm being able to fully commit and invest to my career. It's truly life-changing.
What was your life like before working with Dr. Barrett?
My life was full of uncertainty. I was experiencing chronic migraines that were accelerating at a fast pace and would last days on end. I was going to lots of doctors in hopes for medicine or an understanding of why this was happening. I was missing time from work, it was scary, and I didn't feel like I had control of my health.
What made you decide to join the Migraine Relief Code?
Seeing Dr. Barrett do her TED talk on social media. She has experienced migraines herself, and I feel like she had the answers that I was looking for with regard to finding my relief from migraines.
Did you have any hesitations about joining the program?
If I had any hesitations at all, it would have been the cost. However, when I started thinking about all the time I was missing from work and family, and the medical bills I was already paying for co-pays and medications, I realized it was really worth it.
What had you tried in the past that didn't work?
I tried a lot of things: supplements, changes to my diet, and de-stressing. I think the reason why those didn't work is that I didn't have the precision medicine approach. I didn't know what specifically my body needed and I was just trying to do all the things.
What surprised you most about the program?
The personalized approach surprised me most. It includes a variety of lab tests and genetic testing. I found out things—particularly about my genetic testing—that I never would have thought to be a major contributor to my migraine and overall health.
Who would you recommend this program to?
I would recommend the Migraine Relief Code to a family member or friend who is struggling with migraines and wants to find the answer and find healing. This is not another medication just covering up the pain; this is true healing for your migraines and your health.
Frequently asked

Karen Clark initially hesitated due to the cost of the program. However, she realized it was worth the investment after calculating the money lost from missing work, medical co-pays, and medications, noting she received back much more than the cost.
Why do standard migraine treatments like diet and supplements fail?
Karen Clark found that general approaches like supplements and de-stressing failed because they lacked a precision medicine approach. She didn't know specifically what her body needed until she underwent the personalized testing provided by Dr. Barrett.
What makes Dr. Amelia Scott Barrett's approach different?
According to Karen Clark, the program offers true healing rather than just covering up pain with medication. The use of genetic testing revealed major migraine contributors that Karen had never previously considered.
