Michael Bedenbaugh Published Reviving Our Republic After Overcoming a Previous Publishing Swindle

It was wonderful. And I will always be grateful for Julie and the team there for making that happen for me, because this book would not have happened without her and the team she built around Book Launchers to do it. Hello, I am Michael Beatenbald, and I am the author of Reviving Our Republic 95 theses for the Future of America. What inspired me to write this book has been a lifetime of intention into service. This book is really the culmination of 40 years of me just intentionally thinking about what this country means to me, where I see it has been corrupted. And I was inspired by two very important men and incidences. One was George Washington, who I feel was the most important person of the founding generation. I was inspired by Martin Luther's 95 Theses where he posted indulgences of a corrupted 16th century Catholic Church. I was looking for someone to help me write the book and I got tied up in a company, and me being ignorant of how the publishing system worked and me being so energized that I had to get this out. My head was full. I have to get all this stuff out. I'll work with whoever can say they can. And I signed on to these people. I came after four or five months and I got the basic line of the book down. I came to realize, "uh-oh, I've been swindled." And one sleepless night at 2 o'clock in the morning. I was just scrolling through, and all of a sudden I'm sitting there looking at a video of Julie Broad talking about how book launching should be, in Book Launchers. And I bet I watched in the middle of the night, five or six of her videos. And within a week I was on the phone with Julie. I was also, at the time, running for Congress, and Julie was bent over backwards to accommodate me. It was absolutely the most wonderful experience. Finding somebody online and coming through the way they did for me and helped with the discipline and the business sense. It's really easy to be wary of, "How do I know these people on the other side of the screen actually can perform the way they say they do?" And they did. The technical aspects of setting up my webpage, of making sure all the right details are in there that focus on search terms and all of these algorithmic things that my 64- year-old brain just cannot wrap their head around. And so I would absolutely recommend - in fact, I recommend them all the time. Whenever anybody talks about - they see my book, they say, "I've always wanted to write a book!"
