The interview
Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your background?
Hello, my name is Dave Gardner. I'm from Van Wert, Ohio. I'm an auto-body technician.
What was your approach to health before coming to bVital?
Previous care has just been medications and exercise and tried to improve my diet because it's really hard to gauge how much it's helping or if it is helping, so that's why we looked into or my wife found the program got us here to give us a chance to improve it more.
What were your initial thoughts or hesitations about this program?
I wasn't really sure what to expect. Typical guy, I'm kind of resistant to alternative type medicines but the more we talked about it and now that I'm here, I'm really open to what atmosphere of mindset accompanied with treatment could potentially do for me. Cost was a discussion, the approach was a discussion.
How has your perspective changed since arriving at the center?
Like I said, it's a little resistant at one point to alternative type medicine but I really feel different about it now, I think it took being here to realize it. I feel like the staff here, I really feel like they care. I really feel like they're invested in me while they're caring for me.
What is the most significant impact the program has had on you so far?
A lot of it's the outlook on what I can potentially do with their help to prolong my good health long as possible, feel like I've got a chance now. The whole group here has provided hope and some belief that you can get better.
What would you say to someone else considering this treatment?
Don't be afraid to look into it. Try and like my wife told me, you've spent money on some pretty frivolous things in the past. Why not give something like this a chance that could potentially help help me, help my family.
How would you describe the environment and the staff at the center?
The people here make a community, make you feel at home, make you feel like it's a community, made my wife feel like she was part of it. It's a whole group effort.
