The interview
What surprised you most about working with Denver Vitalist Medicine?
So what surprised me most with Denver Vitalist Medicine is that I succeeded. I was able to do it. I didn't think I'd be able to lose 50+ pounds. I didn't think I would feel better at 55 year old than I did at 45 year old. And here I am. I have succeeded.
What was your health situation before working with Dr. Tauzin?
Before working with Denver Vitalist Medicine with Dr. Tauzin I was dealing with some weird body cramps. I am a 54-year old woman who is going through menopause. However, I also have had autoimmune issues in the past. And with weird body cramps, I was concerned I was maybe developing another autoimmune.
What prompted you to sign up for the program?
When her advertisement came up, I saw it had a lot to do with hormones and being menopause, and that's what got me to sign up.
How did Dr. Tauzin help you overcome the urge to procrastinate?
Dr. Tauzin was very encouraging of, you know, already are motivated to do it now. You should just go ahead and do it now. There's always going to be holidays. There's always going to be special occasions where you're going to want to eat different than what is considered healthy. If I did put it off those couple of weeks, I probably wouldn't have done it.
What had you tried in the past that didn't work?
I have two autoimmune issues under my belt. I almost feel like both of those occurred after trying some sort of oral, like a pill diet or one was a patch. They did kind of help me lose weight, but they also messed up my thyroid and messed up my blood system. This time I wanted to do it naturally with using good health.
What are your results after working with Denver Vitalist Medicine?
I feel much better. I have successfully lost over 50 pounds, have much better sleep. I'm able to fall asleep better. The body cramps that I had had beforehand are pretty much down to nothing. More energy. I've found a new relationship with food. I found a new relationship with movement rather than exercise. Best thing of it all is I feel comfortable in my body.
Would you recommend this clinic to others?
I have recommended Denver Vitalist Medicine already. Because I feel so good. I feel so much better than I did 7 months ago when I had started. I feel comfortable in my body. I feel comfortable moving around and being able to do things that I probably didn't think I could do before.
Frequently asked
Can you lose weight during menopause without restrictive pill diets?
Yes, Tracy Bond successfully lost over 50 pounds using a natural approach focused on good health and targeted supplements rather than 'lose weight fast' pills. She found that working with her body's intelligence allowed her to succeed even when she previously doubted she could.
Should I wait until after the holidays to start a health program?
Tracy Bond initially considered waiting, but Dr. Tauzin encouraged her to start immediately because there will always be holidays or special occasions. Tracy credits starting right away as the reason she actually followed through with the program.
How does Denver Vitalist Medicine handle previous autoimmune concerns?
Tracy Bond sought help specifically because she feared her menopausal body cramps were a sign of recurring autoimmune issues. Dr. Tauzin used a natural approach that avoided the negative side effects Tracy experienced with past 'pill diets' that had previously messed up her thyroid and blood system.
