The interview

How has your practice changed since starting the program?

Things have really shifted just even from the first course on gut health because I changed packages that I offer in my private practice. I have a full-on six-month gut healing protocol. And then for people who are more complicated with add-ons, with mold, autoimmune. So it has changed my entire practice.

What has been the return on investment for your business?

As far as ROI, like hard dollars, it definitely looks as though this year I will be doubling my business as a direct result of adding in all of these tools that I have.

What did you learn about blood chemistry interpretation?

I do wanna mention the blood chemistry. It gives you so much actionable information regarding inflammation and gut health. For people concerned with weight resistance, it shows insulin and cardiovascular disease. We're looking at homocysteine, markers that are not looked at by a conventional practitioner. I have found that simple little test to be amazing.

What was your professional background before joining?

I'm a registered dietitian from Sarasota, Florida. After having been in business at that time for over twenty-five years, I was doing quite well. But I really wanted to dig in deeper into the functional labs that would enable me to help people on a much deeper level.

How does this curriculum differ from other programs you've taken?

I have taken other classes that had to do with gut healing, and this was way more comprehensive. It really put everything in the hands of the practitioner to figure out how to evaluate the labs, versus the other programs where you still were relying on calling up the company to help walk you through the interpretation.

What was your experience with the Clinical Mastery level?

I recently completed Clinical Mastery, which is really on another level. It blew my mind. It put together so many more tools, and I have access to like forty different labs having to do with mold testing and autoimmune. These are complicated patients that no one else really is trained in how to heal. To me, it was life altering.

What is your motivation for becoming a master restorative practitioner?

My motivation is the people that come in here over the years that I didn't have answers for, and now I have answers. We have these amazing tests that mean we don't have to wait until we get a diagnosis. We can look under the hood and see imbalances while someone still feels well.

Frequently asked

How does the Institute of Restorative Health compare to other functional health courses?

Bonni London notes that while she had taken other gut healing classes, this program was far more comprehensive. It empowers the practitioner to evaluate labs independently rather than relying on lab companies to walk them through the interpretation.

Can advanced clinical training help a practitioner with 25+ years of experience?

Yes, Bonni London had been in business since 1999 and regularly attended conferences, yet she found the 'Clinical Mastery' level to be life-altering, revealing tools and markers she previously didn't know existed.

What specific health markers are covered in the training?

The training covers actionable markers not typically looked at by conventional practitioners, including homocysteine, insulin for weight resistance, and markers for cardiovascular disease, inflammation, and mold.
