The interview

What weight loss methods had you tried before finding Jennifer Powter?

I believe I tried every single diet, fad, pill that the industry put out telling me that I would lose weight quickly. The programs that I tried in the past were Keto, intermittent fasting, Weight Watchers, low calorie, low fat, increasing exercise, counting calories, taking diet supplements, one meal a day, and protein shakes.

What was the turning point that made you seek professional help?

Basically, I felt I had reached a low when I found myself eating an entire half gallon of ice cream. And that's when I realized I need help. I'm 62, so I thought, there's nothing else I can do. I might as well just live life. I might as well just eat the ice cream because nothing works. After eating my fifth dish of ice cream I thought, yeah, I need to at least see what she can do.

How did you first discover Jennifer Powter?

I found Jennifer Powter by discovering her book on Amazon. And I've probably read it three times before actually calling her.

What made you decide to join the Powter Weight Loss Academy?

She was going to change my mindset. It wasn't a diet. I didn't have to count calories. I could still enjoy the foods that I normally eat. She was not promoting quick weight loss. This is going to be slow, which is fine. I would rather lose it slow and know that I'm keeping it off than drop five pounds in a week and then gain it all back.

What surprised you most about the program?

What surprised me the most was how much mental work I needed to do. Her program gets in your head probably better than any psychologist that you can meet with. It's not what you're putting in your mouth, it's why you're putting it in your mouth. And she really has you understand that.

What specific results have you seen so far?

To date, since starting this journey with Jen, I started at 171 pounds. I'm down to 157. I have a goal of 150, and I'm very confident I will get there. I am happier. I'm positive. I wake up everyday feeling that I can achieve everything I want to achieve. I genuinely feel healthier.

Who would you recommend this program to?

I would recommend the Powter Weight Loss Academy because every woman on this earth that has been bombarded with the ridiculous diet barrage deserves this.

Frequently asked

Is the Jennifer Powter Weight Loss Academy worth the cost?

Janet Reinhardt admitted the cost initially made her 'clutch her pearls,' but she decided it was well worth the investment if it meant she never had to worry about weight loss again. She now views it as a permanent solution to clearing the 'garbage' out of her head and body.

Can I lose weight without counting calories or giving up treats?

Yes, Janet noted that she chose this program because she didn't have to count calories and could still enjoy foods like ice cream. The focus is on understanding the psychological 'why' behind eating rather than strict restriction.

Is it too late to lose weight at age 62?

Janet initially felt that at 62 there was nothing else she could do, but after joining the academy, she lost 14 pounds and regained her confidence. She now says she looks 'damn good' for her age and feels healthier than ever.
