Hi, my name is Jason, and I live in Texas, and I work as an engineer. The reason I hired RSH Engineering was because of the reviews that I've heard from other people, the personal testimonies, and client reviews online. There wasn't much hesitation when it came to price because I was able to see what it was offered, and the price point made sense to me. Hiring Mathew from RSH Engineering has benefited my home-buying process and my overall home by the wealth of knowledge that he brings and the coaching that he gave me while I was purchasing my home when it came to all code and aesthetic issues. With Mathew's coaching, I was able to find out key issues regarding the local code that my house was not compliant with. when he spoke to me and talked me through it, I was able to understand and fully dive deep into the code that was missed by the city inspectors, and was able to get it promptly fixed. he told me where to go to get those issues resolved when the builder and the inspector were not as willing to, but I was able to get everything resolved by the time I ended up purchasing my house. The experience with RSH engineering as opposed to regular home inspectors... way more knowledge that RSH brings to the table. Regular inspectors have knowledge about it, but they don't go into depth with code or in general engineering structural standpoints, they're not very knowledgeable as compared to RSH engineering. Hiring RSH engineering before purchasing my home has benefited me because I've heard numerous stories where others have bought a house without hiring an engineer, and they went with the regular inspectors and they missed a lot, and within a few months, they had many issues, many leaks, many foundational issues that have arose. since I hired RSH engineering, I was able to find those key issues that are common in most new home purchases and get those rectified. The thing I thought I was getting was a home inspection, but what I really got with RSH Engineering was great mentorship, great coaching, and great engineering background. from explaining the code to explaining the home buying process to explaining different aspects that the city takes building new homes. There's great coaching involved, especially when it came to the new home buying process, and incentives that I could take in. So it was more than just an inspection. It was also realtor help and just general knowledge of real estate. Something that surprised me with my overall experience with Mathew was just the dedication and care that he gave to me as a client. He made sure I was well taken care of in regards to talking to my builder and the city inspectors. He gave me proper, thorough guideline to follow and thorough steps to take when any issues came my way as well. If you're sitting on the fence thinking about hiring RSH, I would say definitely don't think twice. Go for it, hire them. It will get your house right. Even when you think your house is built perfectly, even if it's a new build or old build, there will be points Mathew can find that don't meet code or are structurally unsafe.
