Can you introduce yourself and your situation?
Hello, I'm Nathan Ouellette. I currently live in South Korea. I decided to work with Barron McWright when I was moving out of Florida. I purchased my home at the height of the market bubble back in 2006, so I needed to find somebody that could look over my property.
How did the initial tenant search and setup go?
Barron stepped right in and helped me out. Had probably two weeks of looking for tenants and he got somebody in there. We did some quick repairs and it worked out really well.
What has your vacancy rate been like over the years?
I've had renters in the house ever since. One week over the last... 14 years. So it's been great.
What specific problems were you looking to solve by hiring a manager?
I didn't really have any problems other than financially I wanted to maintain the property and I wasn't going to be there because I travel a lot. It's just been a godsend having somebody I can trust like Barron to look it over.
How does Barron handle the day-to-day management and communication?
He's been really helpful, takes pictures, passes communication between me and the renters, and just overall really helpful. He reaches out and tells me how the tenants are doing, if they've had any problems, if the AC needs repair or there's leaky windows. He's able to get things fixed quickly, and reasonably priced.
How has this service impacted your professional life?
Barron's management has allowed me to focus on my job, really, and not have to worry about being there to check on the property. Like I said, just having somebody there to trust that they're taking care of business.
How responsive is the company to your inquiries?
Barron's always responsive. Every time I've emailed him, you know, within no more than 24 hours, he'll respond back. Either email, phone, text. He definitely cares about his customers.
What is your overall recommendation for McWright Property Management?
My overall experience with Barron has been, he's very helpful and I've never had any issues and would not hesitate at all to point somebody in his direction if they needed a rental agency. He's the only one I've ever worked with and probably the only one I ever will work with. I highly recommend him for anybody that's selling a house, anybody that's renting a house.
