Marketing isn't about closing a sale. It's about opening a relationship.
When you speak on a stage like this, it kind of elevates you in your own mind, and not just in front of their audience, but in your own mind.

The interview

Why is it important for you to speak on The Summit stage?

There's nothing like staying close to the fire of growing people. You want to be around people who are growing, that are moving forward together. But when you speak, it makes connecting and networking that much easier. Anyone worth their salt knows that being on stage is one of the greatest honors you can be bestowed by people who put on events, who attract an audience.

How does speaking at this event affect your marketing and relationships?

One of the things I always say is that marketing isn't about closing a sale. It's about opening a relationship. And when you speak on a stage - especially one that JJ Virgin puts together - you really just open the opportunities and possibilities to build relationships with people and then grow your business.

What has been your experience working with The Summit team?

My overall story working with The Summit team is just unreal, unbelievable, top notch, top shelf. I've known JJ and Tim for a couple years now, and, as a result, have gotten to know their team, their inner circle. All the details are down, on top of things. Everything's handled so professionally. It really helps me see myself in a new light because the event is so elevated.

In what ways has your brand grown as a result of speaking at The Summit?

Number one, I get to connect with more people. People know who I am. There's something to be said about when you're trying to make new connections and just open up new opportunities where people already know who you are. Secondly, just those friendships, those relationships, and the collaborations where I can come in with my team and work in partnership with folks that do other things.

Have you seen a direct impact on your business growth or client base?

We have absolutely landed more clients as a result of coming here and speaking on stage at The Summit. It is a golden opportunity for anybody who wants to grow their business, get in front of the right people. When you can kind of shortcut the line, in terms of trying to scrounge up contacts and leads on your own versus working in collaboration with other great people, that is the golden opportunity.

I'm Mike Kim, founder of Mike Kim agency. The reason it's important for me to speak on The Summit stage is because there's nothing like staying close to the fire of growing people. You want to be around people who are growing, that are moving forward together. There's nothing like it. But when you speak, it makes connecting and networking that much easier. Anyone worth their salt knows that being on stage is one of the greatest honors you can be bestowed by people who put on events, who attract an audience. And just to add value where you are. So it's super, super important, and it just creates more connections. One of the things I always say is that marketing isn't about closing a sale. It's about opening a relationship. And when you speak on a stage - especially one that JJ Virgin puts together - you really just open the opportunities and possibilities to build relationships with people and then grow your business. My overall story working with The Summit team is just unreal, unbelievable, top notch, top shelf. I've known JJ and Tim for a couple years now, and, as a result, have gotten to know their team, their inner circle. All the details are down, on top of things. Everything's handled so professionally. It really helps me see, in a lot of ways myself in a new light because the event is so elevated. They do everything at such a world class level. When you speak on a stage like this, it kind of elevates you in your own mind, and not just in front of their audience, but in your own mind. My brand has grown as a result of speaking in The Summit in several ways. Number one, I get to connect with more people. People know who I am. There's something to be said about when you're trying to make new connections and just open up new opportunities where people already know who you are. That's the part of a brand, right? Secondly, just those friendships, those relationships, and the collaborations. Where I can come in with my team, we handle certain things, and we can work in partnership with folks that do other things, and then to be a trusted advisor in a lot of ways, a trusted vendor. And, of course, like, even with you guys, with Share One, to be able to send our clients here, it's just like, good people know more good people who know more good people, and that's really just the way it works. We have absolutely landed more clients as a result of coming here and speaking on stage at The Summit. It is a golden opportunity for anybody who wants to grow their business, get in front of the right people. I think anyone who is in business understands the importance of that, and when you can kind of shortcut the line, in terms of trying to scrounge up contacts and leads on your own versus working in collaboration with other great people, that is the golden opportunity.
