The interview

Can you introduce yourself and the context of why you started using Quik!?

I'm Matt Elstad, based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and I work for Wealth Enhancement Group. Five years ago we were in the midst of implementing our own version of Salesforce. Our client paperwork process was incredibly manual.

How did incorporating Quik! change your client paperwork process?

Incorporating Quik! into that process allowed us to create efficiencies from a data population within applications and create a far better experience for our clients. It allows you to augment your own process instead of having to work around theirs.

What was the workflow like before you implemented Quik!?

Before implementing Quik! we had a very manual process with how we did paperwork, it was a lot of repetitive information gathering in data entry into systems like Docusign.

What is the primary benefit you have noticed since implementation?

The number one system benefit that I've noticed since we've implemented Quik! is the ability to use repetitive information without rekeying.

When did you realize Quik! was the right solution for your firm?

I knew Quik! was right for me when I saw the output from Docusign where advisors did not need to think about sending envelopes themselves anymore. They were able to confidently trust the data within Salesforce and move forward with their documents and their day.

How did your perception of the product change after you started using it?

The thing that I thought that I was buying was a data population tool but what I really got was a efficient manner of document generation and envelope delivery for our clients. Quik! is best at turning structured data within a CRM into actionable paperwork for our clients.

What has your experience been with their customer service and technical support?

Quik! has an amazing customer service model. We've been able to work very well with our direct contacts. When there are difficult conversations or difficult problems for us to resolve, they're very fast to get the right people on the phone with us to make sure that we're understanding from a development perspective what needs to be done. If there is an enhancement that is needed they're very quick to understand what that is and let us know what the roadmap looks like.

What advice would you give to someone considering Quik!?

If you're sitting on the fence my recommendation is for you to think about where your people are doing their work. You're able to take the solutions that you have within your current systems, incorporate Quik! into those by API to simply augment your process and not necessarily adjust everything around Quik!
