The interview

Who are you and what is your professional background?

Hi, I'm Craig Tungate and I am a professional musician and I have been for the last 51 years.

How did you first get started with Upgrade Labs 5th St?

We met Natalie and Billy quite a while back, sometime last year. My wife became a founding member and then brought me in with her and we did the drop-ins when they had them.

What were your initial impressions of the treatments?

It was fantastic. It was so noticeable right away what it was doing to my body and how I was feeling. When they had to stop doing drop-ins while waiting to open, I was missing it so much these last three weeks or a month.

How has the technology helped with your specific physical challenges?

I feel stronger. I had some surgery on my knee and I noticed that once I started doing the machinery here, that got easier.

What is the biggest difference you've noticed in your daily life as a musician?

As a musician playing gigs, there was a point there that I was just, after a gig, I'm pretty well wiped out—I mean I'm almost 72 so that's allowed. But I noticed that right away when I was done doing my gigs I was actually feeling almost the same as I did before I started the gig. That was not true before I started doing Upgrade Labs.

What do you think about the data and technology used at the facility?

I can feel it in doing the cell health analysis for one thing, it tells me I'm on the right trajectory so there's no guesswork to it. All this AI and all this stuff that's been integrated into this, it does the work for you—I mean you do the work and then it tells you how you're doing.

Who would you recommend Upgrade Labs to?

If you want to do something for yourself, if you want to make your life better, if you want to make your life where you live longer, where you enjoy life more, this is for you. Upgrade Labs is for you.
