The interview

How would you describe your experience with the team so far?

It's phenomenal. The communication with the Client Advisor Team, with Kevin and with Brian. They have their investor conference—the first one that was held here in Tampa—so I had the opportunity to attend that. It was just to get together with like-minded people, find out what they're doing and learn a little bit more about what's going on in the mobile home's park space.

Were there any hesitations you had before investing with Sunrise Capital?

I don't know if there's really something I was really hesitant about. It was more getting to know the operators and the company, to find out really what's important to them and how they communicate.

Why did you ultimately decide to move forward with Sunrise Capital Investors?

What drew you to the mobile home park asset class specifically?

There's been a problem with affordable housing in the U.S. for a long time. Mobile—it's an affordable housing, it's a category. So there's always going to be demand. So that was ultimately at the end of the day why I decided to put some capital into that particular space.

What advice would you give to someone considering an investment with Sunrise?

Well, I'd say do your due diligence. Obviously, everyone's got their hot buttons from what's important to them and what might make sense in their particular situation.
