The interview

What has your overall experience been with Sunrise Capital Investors?

My overall experience with Sunrise has been very positive. I enjoy working with Brian, understanding the investment, and explaining the investments to me, answering all my questions. And then working with Alex, his customer service people, have been very attentive to every question that I have, and are always very responsive to my questions, which I find—in this day and age—very enlightening.

Can you tell us a bit about your background?

I'm Scott Townes, I currently live in Greenville, South Carolina. I am retired, and a serial investor, I guess they call me.

How did you first hear about Sunrise Capital Investors?

I heard about Sunrise Capital Investors from my internist, actually. I delved into it, and found it to be a great investment.

What made you decide to move forward with Sunrise?

What made me want to move forward with Sunrise Capital was they had very good communication. They answered all my questions. I got to look and see around their portal, which is very important to me because I like to be able to see my information when I want to see it, and how I want to see it. So they made it very simple and easy. I looked at their track record, and felt that it was a great way to go.

What specific investment sectors attracted you most?

What attracted me most for the Sunrise investment was the mobile home park space, and the parking garage space. When I sold my business years ago, we had lots of employees, and I wanted to get into a vertical that didn't have a lot of employee personnel into it that was very heavily cash flowed, and as I always say, both a mobile home park and a parking garage are going to do good in good times, and in bad times.

How has the post-investment support been?

The best thing about post investing is actually the customer service. Alex has been great at responding to all my questions, and needs, and helping me through. You know, I'm not the most tech savvy person in the world, and he's helped me through every time I need to do a new investment, put new money into it, or find out the information that I need through the website. Very, very informative and very, very quick to respond.

What advice would you give to someone considering an investment with Sunrise?

If you're looking to invest in Sunrise, do your due diligence like I did. Every review I read about and heard about Sunrise was just glowing. Talk with them. Ask them the hard, probative questions, and they're not scared to answer them. I think it's a very good investment for anybody.

Frequently asked
