What is your background and what motivated you to start this journey?
My name is Theodore Nelson. I live here in Las Vegas, Nevada. I've been here since I retired from the military. I spent 27 years in the military there and then I came here and went to work for the local bus company. I wanted to do something a little bit more to make the money work for me instead.
How did you feel about the potential risks involved in tax lien investing?
There's always going to be a doubt of risk of what's going on with it but what I liked is that they actually gave me a great coach. I had Joe for my coach. He was awesome. He helped me and kept me focused on what to look for and what to train with.
Where did you focus your initial investment efforts?
I started off looking at tax liens in Florida there as well and that's where he had me go and focus on as well, too. It's been a really good program with him.
What have you achieved since joining the program?
Actually, I just purchased my first Tax Lien just this last month. Now that I know how to do it I can take that same process, repeat and do it again. And that means it's just going to be more passive income for me as well too.
What advice would you give to others starting out with Tax Lien Wealth Builders?
Don't be afraid to ask for help. They have a lot of good people that are right there to help you out at any time. Your coach and also the helpline itself. The helpline, they have great coaches over there that can actually answer any of your questions.
