The interview

What was your life like before attending 40 Years of Zen?

A week ago, my life was one of indecision and fogginess as to what to do with the second half of my life. It was pretty much covered up with work overwhelm. There were a lot of business decisions I had trouble making. I felt like my life was not organized. I had all these ideas and no way how to execute them.

Why did you decide to attend the program now?

I'm at a point in my life where my body is changing. My career has reached an area where I need to either decide to grow, sell, expand. And I was having trouble making those major life decisions. I knew that I needed sort of clarity, and so that's why I came here.

Did you have any hesitations before coming to 40 Years of Zen?

First, I was hesitant because I didn't really know enough about it. And I was a little concerned that for the investment and the time and the travel and all that, that I felt like maybe I would get my money's worth it. I would still come out a little unclear or foggy or frustrated.

What part of the program did you appreciate the most?

What made me appreciate the program the most was the pod work. I wouldn't say I enjoyed it the most all of the time, but it was what I definitely needed the most. It was the ability for Lisa to dig deep and remind us to dig deep and to work that in with the technology. I felt like that really got me to meditate to an even deeper level than sometimes I thought I could.

What has shifted for you after completing the program?

What has shifted the most for me is the fact that I was able to let go of the toxic energy that was built up and energy that I thought I had gotten rid of, but was still buried in there. It's almost a very enlightening shift. It was a weightless shift. It felt very freeing. The shift has been one of more freedom and more clarity.

How do you think this will impact your life and career moving forward?

I think it will impact my life more from the connection standpoint. I think it will make me more comfortable connecting with people, connecting through a business. And I think it will help in my career path probably more than just about anything else. I am most excited about seeing how much I can accomplish now and how more confident I'm going to be in my decision making.

Why would you recommend 40 Years of Zen to others?

I highly recommend 40 Years of Zen because in one week, you can just about undo 40 years worth of toxic energy in your system. If you're a very busy individual who is very stressed, like I can be, it's a very good way to completely reset yourself and to give yourself a new start and honestly do it fairly quickly.

And it can help you clear out the bad vibes and help you learn to love and forgive in a way that helps you make your future life so much better. Before attending 40 Years of Zen, my life was pretty much covered up with work overwhelm. There were a lot of business decisions I had trouble making. I felt like my life was not organized. I had all these ideas and no way how to execute them. And I'm at a point in my life where my body is changing. My career has reached an area where I need to either decide to grow, sell, expand. And I was having trouble making those major life decisions, and I was having trouble making them. And so I knew that I needed sort of clarity. And so that's why I came here. First, I was hesitant because I didn't really know enough about it. And I was a little concerned that for the investment and the time and the travel and all that, that I felt like maybe I would get my money's worth it. I would still come out a little unclear or foggy or frustrated. But once I got here, I realized I had nothing to worry about. What made me appreciate the program the most was, I guess, the pod work. I wouldn't say I enjoyed it the most all of the time, but it was what I definitely needed the most. And that was what was the most appreciated. It was the ability for Lisa to dig deep and remind us to dig deep and to work that in with the technology, to kind of. I felt like that really got me to meditate to an even deeper level than sometimes I thought I could. Moving forward, I am most excited about seeing how much I can accomplish now, seeing how clear my life is going to be, and see how much more fun my life is going to be and how more confident I'm going to be in my decision making, because I have more clarity about it. I have more calmness about it, have more love about it, and kind of can't wait to get back now, because I know that I know how to do it right now. Having gone through this program, what has shifted the most for me is the fact that I was able to let go of the toxic energy that was built up and energy that I thought I had gotten rid of, but was still buried in there. So that that was a shift. It's almost a very enlightening shift. It was a weightless shift. It felt very freeing. The shift has been one of more freedom and more clarity. Going forward, I think this will impact my life more from the connection standpoint. I think it will make me more comfortable connecting with people, connecting through a business. And I think it will help in my career path probably more than just about anything else. That was one of the reasons I came here. But it turned out to be the most important part. The biggest takeaway is that not knowing just how much baggage a person can accumulate over the years, and you don't even know it, and the ability to get rid of that, to forgive and to release and to reset, is very vital in the person's life. It's what helps you move on and have more clarity in your life, and so you can live a more fruitful, full, happy, loving life once you've, you've cleared out the cobwebs. The main reason I would recommend 40 Years of Zen to others is that if you're a very busy individual who is very stressed, like I can be, it's a very good way to completely reset yourself and to give yourself a new start and honestly do it fairly quickly.
