What was your life like before attending 40 Years of Zen and what were you looking for?

My life was good, but I know that it can be great. I wanted to see how can I perform better and evolve as a human being, as a father, as a husband, as a professional. I'm looking for taking my mental health to another level. Since I'm a person that's really worried about doing a lot of sports, eating well, sleeping well, resting, doing the right thing, I also think that as important as this stuff is your mental health.

What influenced your decision to join the program?

Since I'm a huge fan of Dave Asprey, there is nothing that would make me not thinking of doing this program. And I'm looking forward to doing the next ones.

What did you enjoy most about the 40 Years of Zen program?

What I enjoyed the most was to be in contact with an amazing person as is Lisa. I think she helped me a lot. She's a great facilitator, a great coach, and this is definitely was extraordinary. But I also think that the time that I had that I spent with myself on the Pod sessions were extremely helpful to really understand who am I and where am I at this moment.

How do you feel now that you have completed the first program?

You know, when you can't wait to go back to your life with that desire to apply everything that you learned, that's how I'm feeling now. And this is great because I am very excited. Life is beautiful, right? I was dying to go back to my real life and say, now, let's help apply this forgiveness thing. Let's apply this gratitude thing.

How has your life shifted since spending a week at 40 Years of Zen?

Since I spent one week in the first program of 40 Years of Zen, my life shifted in many good ways, and I really want to apply everything that I learned there. Going forward on 40 Years of Zen will benefit my mental health, for sure, and my relationships with the people that I most love, that I most care. I think this is going to be crucial for a new life.

My biggest takeaway in 40 Years of Zen was to learn how to be myself without worrying of pleasing others. Yeah, just be yourself. Be grateful. Use your values, integrity, principles to be the best version can be.

I would recommend 40 Years of Zen because people should make an analysis of their own life. Sometimes life pass so fast that we forget to connect with ourselves. We don't live.

My name is Luis Felipe Neiva Silveira and I'm in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Before attending 40 Years of Zen. My life was good, but I know that it can be great. To go there and to see how can I perform better? How can I evolve as a human being, as a father, as a husband, as a professional? I'm looking for taking my mental health to another level. Since I'm a person that's really worked, really worried about, uh, doing a lot of sports, eating well, sleeping well, resting, doing the right thing. But I also think that as important as this stuff is your mental health. So that's what I was looking for in this program. Since I'm a huge fan of Dave Asprey, there is nothing that would make me not thinking of doing this program. And I'm looking forward to doing the next ones. What I enjoyed the most in the program of 40 Years of Zen was to be in contact with an amazing person as is Lisa. I think she helped me a lot.
