The interview
Who are you and what brought you to work with Dr. Eckel?
My name is Richard Johnson. I am from Loveland, Colorado. Before working with Dr. Eckel, I was in a place of moderation as far as like my treatment of Parkinson's. I've always been a person willing to try something different and Dr. Eckel presented that in such a way that it sounded pretty credible.
How did you decide on this specific program?
I started doing some research online and I checked other places that did stem cell. We decided to commit to coming to this program, 'The Brain Week,' and it's been a fabulous experience!
What was the impact of the program on you and your wife?
Lee was able to come with me, my wife, and she got probably as much out of it as I did, maybe more. The overall big change—it's kind of like turn the page, we flipped the switch—all those to change our attitudes and our mindset in a way that will help in the battle with Parkinson's symptoms.
What were your impressions of Dr. Eckel and the staff?
Dr. Eckel's impressed me as a person with credibility and a passion to keep going, not just to make a bunch of money and then take off. It's a very powerful community. They've taken time to hire people that have a passion for being customer service and very accommodating.
What makes the methods at bVital unique?
The spice of life is people! And some of the stuff they do here is not your everyday stuff but I lived in Japan and stuff like that so I've been around gongs and I always enjoyed music. There's some real creative issues here that have been presented intertwined with the teaching and how you're going to attack the future.
How would you describe your outlook after completing the program?
I'd say rejuvenated hope. I've always had hope, I've always been a very positive person. As we get older you have less energy and you don't notice it but your hope can wear down a little bit. It's not there, it's not bright and shining like it used to be. I'd say we're bright and shiny again.
