Improved Mood and Physical Strength Through Targeted Kryptopyrrole Disorder Testing

Hi, I'm Carol Harmon. I live in Half Moon Bay on the Sunshine coast in Canada, north of Vancouver. In 2012, I was camping with some friends in Washington state. I got several tick bites, which resulted in me having Lyme disease and several other co-infections. I've mostly gone an alternative medical route because I'm allergic to the family of antibiotics usually used for treating Lyme. I was reading literature from Dr. Klinghardt in Seattle, who I didn't consult because he was too expensive for my budget. But he referred to a condition called Kryptopyrrole Disorder and felt that many of his Lyme patients had that disorder and that you couldn't really successfully be treated for Lyme without addressing this situation. Dr. Klinghart's website, I believe, mentioned DHA labs. So I got the test done, but I didn't do a follow up with the doctor, so I got a positive diagnosis, and I knew that I needed to be supplementing with zinc and vitamin B6 in particular. I didn't know the exact dosages. So I was going along, consulting various consultants always telling them about the Kryptopyrrole Disorder. But over time, I began to believe I needed something more specific in terms of dosage. About a year and a half ago, I decided that I was going to repeat the Kryptopyrrole test myself and that I was going to follow up with a consultation with Mensah Medical and find out specifically what they recommended. As a result of that, my general health has improved quite a bit. I just feel stronger. I'm not getting sick as frequently. My moods are mostly more even. It's been incredibly helpful. I feel my health is going up rather than down. I think Kryptopyrrole disorder is quite common, and I've read quite a bit about And had I known about it earlier in my life, it would have made a huge difference, because I imagine it preexisted the Lyme situation. So I think it's kind of one of those little known conditions that, when treated, could be of enormous help to many, many people. And that's why I wanted to do this interview, to encourage people to be tested. I'm from Canada, some of the tests that DHA does are not routinely done in Canadian labs. So I'm in a situation right now where I don't have a family doctor. So being tested this way and being treated is just. I don't think it's really available in Canada, and I don't think there are many labs in the states that are doing what DHA is. So I had quite a run around trying to get the blood test done, because the Kryptopyrrole is a urine test, and it's easy. They send you a kit, you send it back. Anybody can do it. You don't need a family doctor. You don't need to be involved with the doctor at all, Once I got the test back, I had confidence this condition was being addressed properly, which I really hadn't had before. So that was very helpful DHA gave me peace of mind about addressing an underlying condition that is going to be with me my whole life, and that I now know that I can periodically check in with them and make sure that I'm on the right course of supplements. I really see how important it is.
