Overcoming Hormonal Issues Through Root Cause Functional Medicine and Deep Lab Testing

Working with Dr. Libby came after a lot of trial and error. in health care, and I figured I could Google my way through my health problems. And I did that for about four years looking into functional medicine, and then I found her on the Functional Medicine website. I liked that she was an MD. a pharmacist, I needed someone who understood where I was coming from and that wouldn't throw medicine and And then I also saw that she had a background in women's health and that was important because I had hormonal issues. so that is how I chose her. She's different from other doctors because she delves into deeper labs than most doctors. It's like she really plays detective and tries to find the root cause. other doctors I worked I would ask for an A1C test based on my history of gestational diabetes. And one doctor literally said, "Why do you need that?" And that like, I can't work with this. This is not okay. It is definitely worth the investment. And I say that after trying to do it on my own for a while, I couldn't have done it without Dr. Orsburn and therefore that makes it all worth I try not to think about it as expensive. I try to think of it as an investment in my future. I definitely see a healthier me in my future. She has just helped me with my mindset. She's such a cheerleader for me. And to have her as a teammate alongside me I just don't think I could have done it without Orsburn, me to stop being hard on myself and to throw perfectionism out the window. also appreciate your conviction. Because I watch you and I've heard your story, and see how much you've changed, and I think I can follow that. So you're definitely a leader. And I love your compassion.
