The interview
What was your life like before working with Dr. Staid and Full Spectrum Integrative Medicine?
My life before was a challenge. I was tired all the time and broken out in hives. I went to a number of specialists and no one could quite figure out what was wrong with me. For 20 years I dealt with an issue that no one else could solve, and Dr. Staid was the only one who could help me.
How did Dr. Staid impact your journey to motherhood?
I'm convinced she was a big part in why I was able to have two successful pregnancies when many of my physicians told me that wouldn't be the case. I've carried them successfully, and while some of it was divine, a lot of it was Dr. Staid's help and guidance with diet, medications, and supplements.
What specific services have you utilized at the practice?
The type of services I utilized with Dr. Staid were hormone replacement, IV therapy, and just general functional medicine.
What was your initial impression of Dr. Staid's approach?
I met her maybe 9 years ago when she was giving a speech and left there a patient. She takes a really responsible and evidence-based approach, which made me trust her and her expertise.
How did you justify the cost of this type of healthcare?
The cost of the investment is something I took into consideration, but if you consider what I was paying in copays at the time and how often I was going to see my physicians, it all sort of evened out. I was able to get an elevated aspect of care that my other physicians weren't able to provide.
What specific health improvements have you seen since starting treatment?
I sleep now, which was a big battle. I have a lot more energy and I'm so much less inflamed. The hives I haven't had in years. I was on and off steroids, and she successfully helped me wean when other physicians said I wouldn't be able to.
What surprised you most about the care at Full Spectrum Integrative Medicine?
What surprised me most was the care I received, the access to high-quality supplements, and the ongoing level of support and access that they provide. It is a white-glove approach to medicine that is just not typical.
How has hormone replacement therapy specifically helped you?
That one is the one that's changed my life most recently, especially postpartum and also going through perimenopause. Dr. Staid is a responsible expert who is honest and evidence-based in her approach to hormone replacement.

How does Dr. Staid's approach differ from other functional medicine doctors?
Tito emphasizes that Dr. Staid takes a responsible, evidence-based approach rather than leading patients down 'irresponsible rabbit holes.' She blends traditional medical evidence with wellness strategies that are proven to work.
Can functional medicine help with weaning off steroids?
Yes, Tito reported that while other physicians said she wouldn't be able to get off steroids for her hives, Dr. Staid successfully helped her wean off them completely.
