I've been highly successful over the years, and I enjoyed GIST and would recommend it because it really helps you crystallize things that you should be thinking about that we often pass by because of the everyday rigors in life.
Who can benefit from the GIST program?
I think it doesn't matter where you are in life that that program has a lot of benefit because it's not a really long time commitment. So it'll fit in everybody's calendar. It gets you to think about things that we don't think about on a day to day basis.
What was your favorite part of the GIST experience?
My favorite part of the GIST was the breakout rooms on the weekly calls. I thought that was really, really helpful. The weekly calls help you gain clarity about the work you've done over the past week.
How did the peer interactions impact your thinking?
We always do stuff in our own mindset, but when you have to start describing your week to somebody else and you get feedback and you hear what they're saying. It opens up new ideas.
What did you think of the physical tools provided, like the journals?
Those journals, I think they were so simple and elegant for people to use—they're easy to open, they're easy to write in. I really liked them. And I'm not a journal guy.
Can you introduce yourself?
