Dr Anna Cabeca (00:00) I'm Dr. Anna Cabeca a triple board certified gynecologist and obstetrician, board certified also in integrative medicine and anti-aging and regenerative medicine. My brand is The Girlfriend Doctor. I am a women's health expert and I became this expert through certainly my training as a gynecologist and obstetrician and then further training in bioidentical hormones, sexual health, functional medicine. I realized how much my doctor's bag needed to really help my patients. So I literally between the professional education, the work with tens of thousands of patients and journey around the world studying international medicine and other healing modalities that really combine. But I would say the expertise really stems from my own personal experience. Like they say there's a message that says your mess becomes your message. That's certainly true with infertility and early menopause diagnosed at 39 then reversing it. That really inspired me to further my product line to create products and programs, educational sequences that really help the individual be empowered, be the CEO of their body. That's so important now more than ever is to feel empowered in our own healthcare journey and to recognize that our body has the capability to heal itself. So that has been a really key aspect in my work with clients. I've since published three bestselling books working on my fourth. And my programs are renowned worldwide, including Magic Menopause and Sexual CPR, and the products I've developed to help women on their journey and the men who love them. My products, Mighty Maka, Julva Balance Cream, and there's so much more. And it always is though, more than a product or a potion, it's a mind, body, spirit connection that makes a difference in our health. I am an a lecturer internationally and nationally, and including lecturing at Harvard's Menopause on Women's Health Conference and so many more academic conferences as well as to the general public. Some of the key areas of my expertise and the areas that I really drive empowerment in my patients and client base are in the scope of our adult life as a woman. So really from menstrual issues through postpartum and perimenopause and menopause specifically. Those are my areas of expertise, because I like to say that while menopause is natural and mandatory, suffering is optional and it takes more than hormones to fix our hormones. There's so much that's been misunderstood and misrepresented in not just the media but also in the academic literature regarding hormonal therapy for women, when it should begin, when it should stop and ⁓ it's really important to understand these aspects. So when we look at other conditions that really women are diagnosed with like PCOS infertility issues, estrogen dominance, perimenopause, mood disorders, and menstrual problems and irregularities, as well as premature aging and what that looks like and feels like. Being able to address those issues head on, address the underlying reasons for those issues is how we correct that problem, reverse many of the diseases associated with aging, if not all, and feel the healthiest.
