The interview
What was your life like before working with Laura Frontiero and Bio Radiant Health?
I had a lot of midlife issues going on. Insomnia, weight resistance, various strange issues popped up with hormones, things like that. I was working with a naturopath, but I realized we needed to go deeper. I was feeling good only 10% of the time.
What made you decide to say yes to Laura's program?
The fact that she had such an inviting atmosphere with various coaches on the line that were answering questions. Everyone got together, there was community, and all the various questions that came out on all the calls were very beneficial to me.
What was the most valuable part of the program for you?
The value for me was longevity and health; you can't put a price tag on that. Understanding the lab results was key because my intuition was already telling me I had these issues, and it just confirmed for me that I knew something was going on in my body.
What surprised you the most about the program?
The connection with all of the symptoms. They were evidence that something was wrong. When you go into those different layers of the detox program, you realize I feel good 80% of the time now versus the other way around.
What are you doing now that you weren't doing before?
I'm able to cope with the issues that come up in day-to-day life. Things don't escalate or upset me like they once did. I have the tools to make progress and keep up with my small children.
Where do you recommend others start with this program?
I recommend starting with the gut detox program that she offers, because it's a topic that we're ignoring. Once you really start to understand this topic and just how simple it is to apply a few things that can really impact your life and longevity, that's where I recommend starting.
What specific physical results have you achieved?
I've lost 15 pounds in these first two rounds of detox, and I'm going to meet my goal of 30 pounds total of weight resistance that I've had in midlife.
What would your life be like without Laura's guidance?
I would still be trying out various things my naturopath was telling me. Although she had great intentions, she didn't have this knowledge and expertise around the holistic view of the body. I would still be just doing trial and error on random things.
Frequently asked
Is there value in a group coaching format for health issues?
Farrah initially questioned the point of hearing about other people's journeys, but found she learned a lot about herself through the community. She noted that the inviting atmosphere and the questions asked by others on the calls were highly beneficial to her own progress.
What happens if I miss a day of supplements during the program?
According to Farrah, one of the most helpful 'Laura-isms' is that 'you can't do this wrong.' If you miss a day of supplements, you can simply take them at night or the next day without feeling like you messed up the program.
How does this program differ from working with a naturopath?
Farrah found that while her naturopath had great intentions, they lacked the specific knowledge and expertise regarding a holistic view of the body. Laura's program provided a 'deeper dive' into the layers of detox that moved beyond trial and error.
