The interview

What was your experience with previous retreats compared to this one?

I'm used to going to retreats and you're lucky if you pull away about 20% that's going to be usable. I probably didn't understand just how much I would get. I got so much out of it.

What is your professional background and who do you serve?

I am a holistic major loss coach for women who have gone through some kind of loss or they are in grief. And I usually do retreats for them here in Santa Fe.

Why did you decide to sign up for the Sedona retreat?

I had done one of Lisa's programs online with her and I just felt this immediate connection. When that email came out that she was going to be doing those retreats in Sedona, I knew immediately I needed to sign up for that. It was an intuitive thing.

What specific business areas did Lisa help you with?

I always knew I wanted to do retreats for women but I didn't really know logistics of that. She helped me walk through the entire process: how it might look and what I would need to do. We also discussed how to really price those retreats, including meals and lodging.

How did you first start working with Lisa Fraley?

I originally worked with her because I bought one of her packages, the legal packages. But she helped me walk through the entire process of my business going forward.

What was the atmosphere of the retreat like?

She was so great and Scott came along sometimes. We hiked. We did some fun, kind of, 'woo-woo' things that you do in Sedona that I loved. She is so welcoming and approachable.

Did you receive support after the retreat ended?

I have met with her since, talked to her, and I had questions afterward that she was able to help with because I had actually gone through the process of doing my retreats by then. That was very helpful.

Frequently asked

Is the price of Lisa Fraley's retreats worth the investment?

Kathy Fletcher admitted that the sticker price initially seemed high, but she concluded it was the 'best money' she ever spent because it was an investment in her business growth and provided invaluable one-on-one planning time.

How does Lisa Fraley help with retreat pricing?

Lisa helped Kathy understand how to structure all-inclusive pricing that covers meals, lodging, and her time, which was a major concern for Kathy before the program.

What is Lisa Fraley's coaching style like?

Kathy describes Lisa as extremely welcoming, approachable, and warm, noting that she never makes clients feel like they are asking 'stupid questions' and encourages open dialogue.

I'm used to going to retreats and you... you're lucky if you pull away about 20% that's going to be usable. I probably didn't understand just how much I would get and I did not realize there would be such a close connection. They became friends of mine too, so I just, I love them so much. So I didn't really know that part would happen. That was an added little bonus. Hi there. I'm Kathy Fletcher. I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico and I am a holistic major loss coach for women who have gone through some kind of loss or they are in grief. And I usually do retreats for them here in Santa Fe. It was so interesting because I had done one of Lisa's programs online with her and I just felt this immediate connection with her. When that email came out that she was going to be doing those retreats in Sedona, I knew immediately I needed to sign up for that. So, it's just kind of one of those intuitive things where I went, 'I'm there, I'm doing it!' She was so great and Scott came along sometimes. We hiked. We did some fun, kind of, "woo-woo" things that you do in Sedona that I loved. Then just spending time with her, her going over with me the different things that I wanted to be able to do with my business going forward. I always knew I wanted to do retreats for women but I didn't really know logistics of that. I originally worked with her because I bought one of her packages, the legal packages. But she helped me walk through the entire process. How it might look, what I would need to do. I made so many notes that we took that day. And I have met with her since, talked to her, and I had, of course, questions afterward that she was able to help because I had actually gone through the process of doing my retreats by then. So that was very helpful. And I want this to be something that I go to annually with her. Oh my gosh, I loved it so much. I got so much out of it. When you first see the sticker price you think 'Oh my gosh, that's a lot.' But you're investing in yourself, you're investing in your business. And I have also followed her pricing lead. We discussed that because that was a big concern of mine - how to really price those retreats. And she helped me to understand. I mean, you've got meals, everything's inclusive - your lodging, all of that. Plus the invaluable time that you have with her that you're planning... essentially, your business. So, it is THE best money that I have ever spent. She is so welcoming and approachable. I mean, sometimes you think, 'Is this a really stupid question I'm going to ask?' And she makes you feel like, we all have those questions, please ask, I want to be able to explain it. Open, friendly, wonderful - I mean, just one of those people; very warm when you first meet her - she really is.
