Transforming a Basement Into a Functional Six-Figure Living Space for Families

Kevin, the project manager, at one point said, "I don't want to get to the end of this and then have you say, 'I loved it,' but this is supposed to be a no-bust tranasction." And I really appreciated that given the size and scope of what we were doing here and the amount of money it was costing. He made sure that I was 100 % satisfied with the work. Alex Frame, Medina, Ohio, and I'm an attorney. Before I found Medina Exteriors and remodeling we were looking to have our basement finished. We have a toddler and a teenager, and we're looking for additional space for when we had guests over and their friends over. The main reason I almost didn't start working with Medina Exteriors is because there were a lot of contractors in the area that offered similar services and we were trying to find somebody that we could trust to take on a big six-figure project. I knew Medina Exterior was right for me when they sat me down and start to finish how this was going to work, and really didn't oversell what they could do. It made me very comfortable with they were taking reasonable approaches, and they were the perfect mix of right pricing, and they had a pretty believable story. Didn't sell me a false bill of goods, at least didn't feel like they were. So I thought I was gonna get a finished basement, and what I ended up getting was somebody who I think I'll use in the future as a permanent contractor for these larger projects because there are several parts of my house that I do want to upgrade in the next few years. Medina Exterior and Modeling are the absolute best at setting expectations for how quickly the project is going to go, and possible hiccups that might come along the way. I was never caught flat-footed when issues arose, and they were very communicative, and making sure that they were going to stay on track for the schedule they set. Once the basement was finished, it was adding another whole floor to the house. And so now we're not all just stuck in the living room together. We can kind of spread Doesn't feel like we're living on top of each other. And we have a place to relax and unwind that is very comfortable. And it's exactly what we were looking for. It just gave us more space to relax and enjoy ourselves. If someone was on the fence about engaging Medina Exteriors and remodeling, I would say that they've been around for 20, 30 years in Medina. They're locally owned. I know the owner, Brett Ruiz's kids grew up here. I grew up with them. They're very reputable. And because of these roots that they have here Medina, they have an incentive a good job because their reputation matters a lot, especially in a small community like this.
