Who are you and what do you do?
I'm Ted Larsen and I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and I'm a visual artist.
What changes would you like to see in the healthcare industry?
I would like to see more equality. I would like to see more accessibility. I would like to see price structures drop and I would like to see less dominance of traditional western medicines.
How has your community reacted to your work with Modern Holistic Health?
I do have a fairly large community of people, and those people, they look to me for guidance and leadership in my world. And they're all sort of marveled by the changes that they've seen in me as a result of this work.
What is your personal goal in participating in this program?
I feel like living my best life, my fullest, highest-capacity life, is a model towards that.
What was your impression of the presenters and the community?
The community of people who have been presenting the information and working with all of us have come to it with an open heart, and that's probably the most important thing to begin with. They're very knowledgeable, but they're not pejorative in the way that they present that knowledge for everyone.
How does the structure of this program compare to other models you've seen?
I really appreciate the openness of the community, and the collaborative structure that is being established here. It's something that we don't see a lot of in America generally. The collaborative spirit of what is occurring here transcends most everything that I've seen in recent modern sociological models.
