The interview
Why is it important to attend the Mindshare Summit?
It is so important to your future to attend this Summit because the people you meet and the things that you learn will change your life forever. You will not be the same, and you will be able to have freedom and experience life on an entirely different level because of the impact that you're creating and the way that you can help people on another scale.
Who are you and what is your specialty?
Hi, I'm Monica Hershaft and I'm a mystery illness expert and I'm from Scottsdale, Arizona.
How has the Summit impacted your professional network and resources?
The Summit has changed my life. I've been going since 2017. I met my best friends here, I've met my business collaborative partners, and it's a great place to resource, to get guest experts that I want to interview for my membership program. And I get so many amazing ideas and information.
What specific business support have you received?
I learn a lot about different programs to implement that I wouldn't have thought of on my own. So I get a lot of support and help and instruction and information.
How has your business model changed since joining Mindshare?
I feel like my influence has grown since attending the Summit because I've been doing so much more to get myself out there. Before, I was just doing my brick-and-mortar practice, seeing people one on one, trading time for money. And since I started doing this Summit, I wrote a best-selling book, got it on Amazon and got it published. I did my 12 week 'Treat The Source' online health reboot program, learned how to use Kajabi, learned how to put it online, learned how to hire a virtual staff, learned how to promote myself, and created my mystery illness membership community.
What was your marketing strategy before and after?
As a result, I started doing social media, started doing videos for social media. I wasn't even doing social media before that, so it definitely turned my life in a 180 from what I was doing before when I was just really trapped in my practice.
How has this transformation affected your personal life and freedom?
When you have the one-on-one brick-and-mortar practice and you're trading time for money and you have no freedom, you can't make plans. My parents are getting older and they're getting to that end-of-life period, I wasn't even able to leave and go see them or go help them with anything because I had to show up every week for my patients. And now that I have these online programs in place, I have the freedom to make other plans, I can do things, I'm not drained all the time, and I feel like a person again.
