The interview

What was your overall experience working with The Bigelow Team?

The experience was easy because of our past experience. They try to do everything for you to make it as easy as possible. They give you hints and recommend things, but they don't 'strong arm' you into doing things. Things just seemed to flow.

How did the team handle the specific challenges of selling your parents' home?

It was a big project taking on selling my mom and dad's house. Dawn, in particular, always wanted me to have an easy time. She even offered to come over and keep my mom company while I would pack things so that my mom wouldn't stress out because she has early signs of dementia.

What were the biggest obstacles you faced before the sale?

The house had a lot of stuff in it. Not only did they help us arrange an estate sale and get the house prepped, they just did a great job in photographing and setting it up. Her parents hadn't had a lot of experience selling a house before so Nancy had to take the lead.

When did you know The Bigelow Team was the right choice for this move?

I knew they were right for us when my mom and dad needed to move into an adult senior community. We had worked with them before and they went above and beyond accommodating our needs. They're very personable and they're like family.

How did their level of service compare to other real estate agents?

I've worked with other real estate agents before and they're all pretty good, but this is the difference between 'pretty good' and just 'totally awesome.' They feel like they just dropped everything to fit your needs, to come over and help. She was willing to help pack boxes and wrap up real fragile material.

What made the biggest difference in the transaction?

They wanted to get to know you on a personal level and not just treat us as a business transaction. This felt personal. Like they were really looking out for us and that just made a huge difference and I can't recommend them enough.

The experience with working with The Bigelow team, we knew it was going to be easy because of our past experience. They try to do everything for you to make it easy as possible. They give you hints and recommend things. They don't "strong arm" you into doing things. We work so well together where they would give me advice I would take it and run with it. And things just seem to, kind of, flow. Dawn, in particular, always wanted me to have an easy time with this because it was a big project, taking on selling my mom and dad's house. She even offered to come over and keep my mom company while I would pack things so that my mom wouldn't stress out because she has early signs of dementia and Dawn was aware of that and tried to accommodate. She came over to help do that and they're just wonderful. I don't know how to put to words just how easy they made this transition. Hi, I'm Nancy Parmelee and this is my husband, Rudy Parmalee. We're from Rio Rancho, New Mexico. I am a retired veterinary technician and my husband's retired from Intel. So, The Bigelow Team helped us sell my in-laws house - Nancy's parents house. And to say we're "more than satisfied" is quite an understatement. Some challenges that we had faced prior to working with The BIgelow Team is, the house had a lot of stuff in it. Not only did they help us arrange an estate sale and get the house prepped, they just did a great job in photographing and setting it up. But the biggest challenge is there was a lot of stuff there. Her parents hadn't had a lot of experience selling a house before so Nancy had to kinda take the lead. I knew The BIgelow Team was right for us when my mom and dad needed to move into an adult senior community. We had worked with them before and they went above and beyond accommodating our needs. They're very personable and they're like family. They really make you feel welcome. There's a lot of capability to get overwhelmed by everything. Felt like so much to do but they kinda took their time to get to know us and just... were there at every step of the way and it just really eased our minds and helped things go smoothly. This is like, next level. The willingness to get to know you and just kind of be friendly and come over at a moment's notice if something needed to be signed or just any help that they could offer - just flabbergasted. I was just so amazed that they would go this far above and beyond. Like Nancy said, it's really hard to find the right words to say how wonderful they were but it really made this a lot easier. So, we definitely would recommend The Bigelow Team. I have I've worked with other real estate agents before and they're all pretty good, but this is the difference between 'pretty good' and just 'totally awesome.' They feel like they just dropped everything to fit your needs, to come over and help. She was willing to help pack boxes and wrap up real fragile material. I'm like, "who does that?" We were both amazed at how willing they were to help in just on little things. Maybe looking for somebody to clean the house or something after it was all said and done. They were just a pleasure to work with. They wanted to get to know you on a personal level and not just treat us as a business transaction. This felt personal. Like they were really looking out for us and that just made a huge difference and I can't recommend them enough.
