Scott And Angie Helgeson (00:00) Hi, we're Scott and Angie Helgeson. We're from Minnesota, and our daughter Stephanie, for the last couple of summers, ran a branch office in St. Cloud. When we first heard that Stephanie wanted to get involved with Vector Marketing and Cutco, I think I was a little surprised. Steph is shy - was shy! And so I had some reservations about whether this would be a good fit for her or not. She went through the training, and she loved it, and was super excited to keep going. And she shocked all of us with coming out of her shell, and really making some great cash that first summer that she was involved, and boy, she really blossomed. So the biggest surprise for us as Stephanie joined Vector Marketing and selling Cutco really was the support that they gave her in starting to become a sales consultant. From the training and the mentoring and the coaching, and frankly the support as she started selling. When Steph first started her demo, she was reaching out to our contacts, to friends and family of ours. And we had some feedback that she was really coming out of her shell. She did such a great job, and was very confident in her delivery, and very fun to talk with. We also heard from a couple of people that own businesses - in Steph's very first summer selling - that they would hire her on the spot for an internship or a job when she needed one because they impressed them so much. So I think a couple of ways that she's really grown since she started with Vector was just her level of self-confidence. The last several years - and even as she moved into running a branch - really became a lot more confident in who she was and what she was doing. She also has really done a nice job of managing through the emotions of being a sales consultant. And really being able to keep a positive attitude and kinda work through the emotions of that. She's just done a fantastic job on that. So I think one of the things that really is a standout for Steph the last few years, as she especially ran a couple of branch offices, is just how well she's done. Just this last summer, she placed 7th in the nation in their branch sales. And so that was a really big moment for her, and a big kinda crowning achievement as she's continued in her career with Vector. So Steph's first summer with Vector and Cutco, she worked some long days. She was very disciplined, and was making calls, and when she wasn't on a demo, she was making calls to book more demos. And we just really saw a lot of self-discipline with her time management, and her willingness and her drive to just keep going, even though her friends were going in different directions. She really wanted to succeed and experience personal growth. Looking back on Stephanie's decision to join Vector several years ago, I don't think she would change a We would definitely support her continuing to take that path again. Her self-confidence that she's gained. And then frankly, the people that she's worked with at Vector. Her branch manager, her division manager - what just a fantastic group of people who really are there to support her - not necessarily just in the business itself, but in life. She's built some very good relationships. I think relationships she'll have for the rest of her life. And I think it's a decision that she made that if she had to go back, she would make it again and we would support her 100% on that. I think if your child is considering getting involved with Vector Marketing, I understand the apprehension and the skepticism, but from our experience, I would recommend it 100%. There is no other place that I know of, even in our adult careers, where you get the kind of support that you get from Vector Marketing and Cutco. And the life skills and the mentorship, I highly recommend it.
