The interview
How do you feel at this moment after completing the program?
I'm pretty content at the moment now. The future self, all I have to do is just keep doing what I've always been doing. And the part this week was remembering who I always was, not trying to be somebody else. I found a way to get back there and I found a way to achieve peace with everything.
What specific elements of the program contributed to your experience?
The gestalt nature of the program where things were combined together like neuralfeedback and ketamine and the talk therapy. Going into a room with a bunch of strangers on Monday and by Friday, building a relationship with all of them—a deep connection. And having everybody just simply care about each other as people. That was a very valuable thing and it's something I needed at this point in my life.
What is your outlook on your daily life and happiness now?
Just have to keep doing what I'm doing, that's all it is. It's not rocket science. There's no end point I have to get to to be happy. I have everything I need right here and all the tools are there. I just had to remember how to use them.
How has your temperament or interaction with others changed?
A lot more patient and also a bit more compassionate and more gentle with people. Not taking things as seriously as I have through the years. Knowing that it's all going to be okay regardless of what I do.
What was your state of mind regarding your businesses before coming here?
I run six companies and there's a lot to do, there's a lot to build and I got to a point where I'd taken them as far as I could go and I was a bit stressed and overwhelmed and lost. And now that I'm back it's good to be back, and my greatest success is going to come.
