The interview

What was your life like before working with Dr. Diva?

About the year before I started working with Dr. Diva, I was experiencing a lot of confusion and not exactly sure the direction I wanted my life to go. I really needed to be able to have a mechanism to be able to look inside myself and find those answers.

What made you say yes to working with him?

He's just so very qualified and amazing and just any interactions I had with him felt really good and open and warm. And it made me comfortable to explore things I needed to explore.

What surprised you most about the experience?

Everything. I didn't exactly have an idea of what was going to happen or how it was going to happen or what it would look like or feel. I just really trusted that lead and allowed everything to work for me to happen the way it was supposed to happen.

How was the facilitation and environment during your stay?

From the moment that he picked me up at the airport to the moment that I left, everything was such a beautiful experience. As a perfectionist type person, it is kind of hard for me to be present, but he made me feel so comfortable and at home. His dog was there, which I love because I'm a dog person.

Can you describe the process of the journey?

The evening before we experimented with plant medicine, we set our intentions. He helped me work through that and open my mind to exactly what I needed to get from the experience. The morning we worked together in the Journey Space, he tested my body to see what I was ready to use, and it was plant-based medicine. He helped me articulate what that meant afterwards.

What was your greatest breakthrough?

My greatest breakthrough has to do with forgiveness. And that is forgiving myself of things that I no longer need to be in charge of or obsessed with or micro-managing. I was able to shed a lot of that and let it go. It allowed me to look at life and recognize what is within my control and what is not.
