The interview

What is your advice to others considering HomeCareSales?

Definitely sign up as fast as you can. HomeCare Sales puts a lot of method to the madness of everybody's kind of got their hands in the sales and marketing pot and everybody has a marketing idea or a sales idea. They bring a level of comfort and understanding and more than anything, just adaptability to meeting folks where they're at.

How does HomeCareSales help agencies reach the next level?

They put into place really good systems and processes that help take people to the next level and help them grow sustainably and not just kind of an overnight little bit of a pop in their census or a pop in their admissions numbers, but actually help them identify who they are, what they're selling, and how to take their business to the next level.

What is your professional opinion of the HomeCareSales team?

Home Care Sales, fantastic team. I've been in this business for 30 years and I've never worked with a more talented group of consultants and people.

What challenges were you facing at Interim Healthcare before starting?

Some of the challenges we'd see is just a lot of folks working in silos as far as what their sales programs were, what their methods were of going after the business. And there was challenges that come with that where you're managing different levels of where people are at. Some people that had no sales programming or very little. And it was just, never would make the phone ring. So it was kind of a mixed bag.

How did the HomeCareSales method change your sales approach?

Homecare sales gave us an ability to partner with us and bring a really neuroscience-based method to sales training and putting together a sales system that really just makes good sense for all the people that are utilizing it. So from owners to sales reps to sales managers, it's a sensible system that is easy to adapt to.

What has been the impact of the training program Melanie helped you create?

The consistency has come through getting everybody through our sales training program that Melanie helped us put together. And it's been instrumental in getting everybody aligned. And when you bring people together and they're aligned over the same methods and the same procedures and processes, it makes it lot more streamlined. So you can measure goals together and not only hold folks accountable, but help them to thrive.

What feedback have you received from the field regarding the program?

Some of the feedback that I've received, it has been very positive. The program is easy and I understand it's easy to digest and grasp and be able to operationalize out the field. I've seen many sales programs before in the past and I've helped put some together and write some where folks are confused afterwards. This program takes people where they're at and actually helps them put into practice exactly what they need to do.

What measurable results have you seen across your franchise partners?

I would say it's definitely shown an increase across all of our franchise partners collectively. And aggregately, we've definitely grown significantly in certain pockets. So we're just really excited about the opportunity that has given us to be able to hold people accountable, but also be able to empower folks to go out and really make a difference and focus on their key differentiators in their market. So just that alone has helped people be able to increase their market share.
